We stayed at Malusara Hotel(Super Deluxe Lake view room we paid) from May 17th to May 19th, 2024, with breakfast included. We traveled with our 1.5-year-old toddler. The hotel is located in front of Bhimtal Lake, though the view of the lake from the rooms is obstructed by trees. However, you can enjoy a clear view of the lake from the restaurant area. There were a few issues during our stay: 1. Monkeys: There were a lot of monkeys in the area. They started jumping on the roof at around 4 AM, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully. The roofs are made of tin and wood, so the noise was very loud. 2. Night Staff: No staff members are present at the hotel from 10 PM to 7 AM. In case of an emergency, they provided us with a mobile number to call. 3. No Air Conditioning: The rooms do not have air conditioning, which was not Although it is mentioned 4. No Refrigerator: Despite stating that the rooms have refrigerators, there was none in our room. When we inquired about this, the staff suggested we use the restaurant's fridge. However, this fridge is only accessible until 10 PM when the staff leaves. Overall, while the location and views from the restaurant were nice, the issues with noise, lack of staff presence at night, and missing amenities made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped.
