Review Of CYBELE HILL RESORT

The place is amazing and in the right place of the hill. The food is not very suitable for non kerala people. But the place of resort deserves a night.

As the name suggests the resort is on hill, the weather n view was awesome. We enjoyed our stay for 2days

The place at which the Resort is set up is good for nature lovers as it has an in-built viewpoint. Food served was good. Just beware of the leeches. Overall a good place to refresh and chill out!

The hotel location was typical for a family with an adventurous bent of mind. Also locations were not conducive to go for trips around Wayanad. Access to and from the hilltop needed 2 jeeps and was not suitable to the light hearted.

I was charged 675rs as tax and reason was offer which is a mind game, the manager showed me MMT charges less and then they collect the rest from the guests. He agreed for early check-in without condition, after check out he charged me, the office and actual place of stay is too far - this should be highlighted in the listing The amenities did not include so called rock climbing, mountain climbing, valley crossing or even basic activities to spend time Overall, food and kitchen staff was very supportive and always available. I want to know how do I recover my 675rs. I can share the hand written bill copy received from Cybele.

A real disappointment with the resort. Zero activities for children. Zero play area. Our vehicle cannot reach resort. No room service. Food is real poor. Zero value for the money spend

The resort was far away from main city and roads are unsafe. Even the vehicle used for travelling to hill top on mud roads don't have seat belts. Bathroom are uncleaned and insects roam around. No complimentary drink or water is provided. Tv connection was not working

This is the place to go to enjoy raw nature at its best. The staff have done enough to make this place unfriendly. The view from the top is simply magical. It's a must visit place. Rooms are clean and food is absolute value for money. Google maps lead to hotel office. They take you to rooms at hill top in their vehicle. It's one heck of a ride. We had booked bamboo cottage. Deluxe rooms have the best view. If you get a chance to visit this place then don't miss even if its for a single night.

The location is awesome and very good for nature lovers. The staff are friendly. Its a hill and jungle resort with calm atmosphere, soothing ambience spectacular view points from every room and specially from top of the hill.

Definitely not a place to go with family. The thought behind the resort is good but no maintenance at all. No light at night in the middle of jungle. No proper food. Definitely not good to be here with kids. Very bad experience.

It is not centre of Wayanad. Car can't go til resort. No proper restaurant on hill how many times person come down to market. Its not so easy. Just sit there and eat rice. We book for two nights. I check out next day morning so that I can save my time.

The location is very far from all the destination's. It best to stay in Kalpetta which is center for all tourist locations. The view was very nice from the hotel but there is nothing else to do. Not much to do at the top of the hill as even if you want to come down you need to wait for the jeep to take you down. Its ok for a group of people but for couple's it would not be idle as the food has very limited options. Its more like a home stay at the charge of resort. We booked for two days but we checked out on next day and moved to another hotel. The people working there are soft spoken but not much to see or do. Further except for the deluxe cottage all the other places were not that well maintained and clean including the small food center.

Location of Resort is awsome, one of the best in Wayanad. If you are expecting a service I would say its zero. Food is not at all good even they don't know how to cook, some basic etiquettes were missing. For the money they are taking, they are not giving service as per that at all, no complimentary water in the room, stayed for two days nobody even bothered to clean the room, ordered something in the room and it was not cleaned after one day also, I had to ask them to take it back. Break was not having basic food, when asked was given but nobody confirmed that its chargeable. When room is expensive facility is also supposed to be there like geyser, room heater these things were missing. Bathroom area wall was broken. If I have to talk about food, Kerala food was missing in Kerala hotel. Overall view and look from outside was good but other than nothing was good.

The view from the cottage is exceptionally good. Perfect choice for a relaxing resort experience at Wayanad. The resort is located at around 6000 ft from sea level. You will have to park your vehicle at the front office and take their jeep to go to the top of the resort. Be prepared for that adventurous jeep ride.

Excellent location with amazing views of the valley. Mist even in summer! Staff are very caring. Food was authentic kerala cuisine for us veggies. Went on a short trekking trip in the hill behind the resort as well. All sightseeing points are within 20 km radius from the resort.

The view from the Hotel was beautiful, the food was excellent especially the local cuisine. Location is on hill top about 5000 ft and requires a 4 by 4 to take you there. There are hardly any facilities but you may not miss much. Staff was friendly.

Staff was really gentle. A bit far from the natural reserve.

There should always be a cancellation policy. otherwise, if a person cannot make it, he looses entire booking amount. This is nothing short of fleecing.
