We had booked two rooms, and the CC Auth form was shared with the front desk team and they clearly informed verbally and well as via email well a day prior for not asking the payment to the guest for any incidentals and the same was acknowledged by them. Yet the pre Auth was taken from the guest, and while the guest informed the desk team about the CC Auth form, they did not even have to bother to check internally and took pre authorization payment from guest. Later, when the team was asked to release the Auth instead of accepting the mistake, Ms. Mehuli from the reservation team was trying to justify the mistake .
