What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a messy, miserable ordeal — thanks to a hotel that truly redefined the meaning of “terrible.”
From the start, the property felt off. There was no visible hotel banner outside, which was already a red flag. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warning signs were all there — a musty odor, uninterested staff, there were lizards and ants in the room. The room I was given was nothing like what was advertised. Later on, they gave me the premium suit which I had actually booked which was nothing better except for the fact that it was spacious. Worst of all — the rooms were not cleaned even once throughout our stay. When we finally requested housekeeping, what unfolded was straight-up disgusting: the staff used the same cloth to wipe both the toilet and the room floor. Absolutely revolting. Things got worse when the water supply was cut off for an entire day. We were left without water in the middle of summer — no bathing, no flushing, not even handwashing. Our entire day’s tour plan got cancelled because of this chaos. There was no apology, no proper explanation, and certainly no compensation. This experience taught me two things: never trust online hotel photos, and always read the reviews very carefully — or better yet, book a tent over this kind of “accommodation.
