Review Of Chola Heritage

The cottage room was excellent, the floor resembling a giant chess board. The bathroom was modern and the hot and cold shower was great. The bed was comfortable and we woke up fresh and refreshedto visit our temple itinerary. The breakfast was excellent with Chettinad cuisine. Chelladurai helped us get settled though we came late at night. He was also helpful in arranging our transport. The goli soda was a refreshing change . On the whole a short but very memorable trip. I will certainly recommend Chola Heritage to future travelers for a decent and homely stay.

Decent stay no frills. Simple breakfast ; no restaurant attached. There was no hot water available. This was disappointing.

We had a wonderful experience overall, starting with a delicious traditional complimentary breakfast that set the tone for the day. The ambience of the place was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Even after we had checked out, they went out of their way to assist us by safely storing our luggage and generously offering us an air-conditioned room free of charge to freshen up before our train journey.

TV, wifi not working. not worth that tariff. very uncomfortable bed provide

It's a quaint old Chettiar mansion

Room space is quite spacious with antique furniture. no welcome drink and restaurant. you have to order food outside during your stay. complimentary breakfast starts only at 8 am

Very clean and well maintained property. The staff are very friendly.Adhirasam and thenkulal given with tea in the evening were superb.Chettinad break fast including Aadai dosai was quite good.

It was very pleasant stay. Location is near by new bus stand. Theme of this resort is Tamil traditional. We should enjoy the vintage collection.

The stay was overall good. Rooms were clean, and service was good, but only when they would listen to our requirements. There's no one at the reception ever whenever I called, and even at the room service number, no one picked up the phone. On one night, the 9 number for reception was directly connected to a room, and when I called, the guests were disturbed. It seems like an upcoming property and service might just get better, but right now, the prices don't justify the hotel experience. Also, there's no in-house restaurant, and they only serve breakfast.

The location of chola heritage is easily accessible by road as well as rail. The stay at the hotel was fantastic. The property had a heritage look and the accommodation was fantastic. All required amenities were provided. The staff at chola heritage was very cordial and helpful. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices with local cuisine. However the other services were not worth for the rate. Lot of cutting of the corners were seen around. No staff in reception at night. In fact the whole service in the night seems to be managed by one single man; who was too busy with serving food to various rooms. Tv channels were not available since recharge was not done. It did not get re-activated even after mentioning this to the single support staff who was available there. Toilet tissues were absent. Smallest available water bottles were provided in room. There is no restaurent in this hotel and also there are no good eateries around the immediate vicinity. Also the property is located in the outskirts of town. 'heritage' tag doesnt justify since it is a new building done with some heritage elements architecturally added to it and rooms provided with some heritage style furniture.

The cottage room is outside the main premise is in the parking. The location is next to railway crossing so there is intermittent railway horns which disturb sleep.

It is a nice hotel done in an old chettiar mansion i suppose - very nice and aesthetic too. The private cottage which we stayed in was very large, spacious and comfortable though i would suggest they add a little utility furnitures to make it even more better. The breakfast was the best i have had in recent times. An amazing variety of authentic chettinad cuisine cooked so well and spread out as a nice buffet. Very warm and friendly staff - need to surely say that the chef and the support staff at the restaurant were so kind and friendly explained to me and served with warmth and hospitality.
