Nice, neat and clean rooms were provided to us, I was travelling with my family. The support staff of the facility was so welcoming as well. The only issue I noticed was that they could not help me with a guide who can take us through the touriest places. Over all good stay.

My parents had stayed here for a night and they absolutely loved it. Food was amazing, rooms were super clean and the place is beautiful. The Properly Manager was very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again for our next trip to Chettinad.

Entire staying experience was excellent. Check in was very quick, Rooms are neat and clean and the food is like homemade, you don’t feel like hotel food which is good. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. The property is located very near to the palace. This is my second time visit to the property. Both the visits, they allowed me for an early check-in. Totally it was a pleasant stay, thanks to the entire property team.

Terrible Stay

There was hardly any maintenance. No water, no food provided. Even though the breakfast was included with the booking. And not even informed us. Pathetic management. Nobody taking responsibility of anything. No good available outside also. The security guards shared their food with us to keep us full.

The stay was good. Rooms are very neat and clean and it’s spacious too. The food was very tasty and feel like a home food. Very limited menus but good. Location is very close to the highway and very near to the kanadukathan palace. In total it was a wonderful staying experience

Poor maintenance

The rooms are not at all like in the photos. The walls have cracks, towels have stains and ac also not good right for summer. The walls had scribbling and inf-act the tile were broken in the bathroom.

familyThis property fell short of our expectations on almost all counts. There was a bad stench as you entered the property due to poor ventilation and they have used pathetically substandard materials to recreate a chettinad mansion. It’s a sham.

A bit expensive

It is a bit expensive considering that kanadukathan is a small town. The hotel was pretty deserted when we stayed (saturday night. Dinner needs to be pre-ordered. Even though we called the property manager he did not mention about this pre-ordering part. The manager also told that the breakfast was complimentary, but after we finished the bf said that was not complimentary. Room and bathroom were good.

We were very satisfied with the services provided. Location of the property is excellent and great area to loaf around in a very peaceful neighbourhood and see the period Chettinad houses. The food was awesome and a value for money. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Hotel had restrictions on their restaurant timing ending at 8 pm which was too early. Pillows they provided was very hard. Stay was just okay for the price paid.
