I planned this short trip to Kodaikanal with my mom and wanted to be particular with food, transport and nearby sightseeing considering her age and health. I found Bohemian Hideaway on MMT and read the reviews on google as well, which didn’t leave me with another choice. I trusted the pictures, reviews and straight away booked the deluxe room with private balcony. Being a mountain child, I just fell in love with the view the moment I stepped in. It was homely, cozy, clean and just the way I love! The peaceful mornings sitting in the balcony, journaling with the sound of stream and birds chirping all around was just what I needed to get a break from my corporate life! We were warmly welcomed by Ranjith and Balaji who were very friendly throughout our stay! Ranjith ensured to knock on our door and clean the room every morning. Balaji was very considerate and kept asking my mom her preferences before preparing meals and if there is anything he can help us with. He was a saviour when it came to my Maggie cravings! P.S. He makes the best masala Maggie! Arun helped us with contact numbers of local cab drivers who made sure our journey was comfortable and safe from Madurai to Kodaikanal, throughout our sightseeing and our journey back home. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Electricity issues

Had an amazing stay at bohemian hideaway, the property is beautiful with an amazing view of the mountain. The hosts arun and nikita are always there to help.

1. Easily accessible 2. Neat, clean, spacious 3. Quiet and private homestay [we didn't even get out for a whole day, it was so cozy] 4. Serves homemade food on request and they are extremely delicious 5. Host is quite aware of things around and helps with all the things one might need to have a comfortable kodai visit.
