Stayed at U3. Well maintained room. The host was very friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Property is next to the Beach

Location was very beautiful, but it is not professionally maintained, our bathroom was having bad smell, even though it is cleaned, food was ok ok.

I had booked a room for 17 and 18 february 2024 bay-nest beach house, kundapura via makemytrip. I made the payment and received a confirmation email too. However when we reached bay-nest beach house kundapura at 12:00 noon on 17 th we were informed that there is no room available for the weekend as a wedding party had booked all rooms. We had nowhere to go and return all the way back to chikmagalur. Please arrange for a refund.

I had a booking at bay nest, and reached the property by 14:30, and to my dismay found out from resident property manager that the property u3 has been already allocated. The owner mr. Gautam when contacted said that mm t has this u3 property as 2 rooms in their inventory and washed his hands off. I then called mm t and it took around 90 minutes to get an alternate hotel booked at udupi. This was not the beach side stay that i hoped for but given the situation i was happy for the resolution. Mr. Gautam interacted rudely with my wife when she asked how they did not that the booking has been twice and asked who had booked first, and he later called us and offered us his personal room for stay. We did not take up on the offer as mm t had already allocated another place to stay. Even though the property is nice and staff very courteous, i would not recommend this place to stay due to the owner, who does not know what hospitality means and being in that business for so long is baffling.

Rooms are clean and property is well mentained and it was a good location 👌enjoyed a moment

This place is located at a nice place but it's too much pricey, they offered a non ac room at a high cost, the room they provided was very very unhygienic with untidy bedsheets, towels and with no dustbin in the washroom also there were mosquitoes and insects in the room it was a very very horrible stay. I ll not recommend this resort at the cost of 6500 per night.
