Gateway Chikmagalur

The property was clean, nice and elegant.all facilities were there but the location was not that good...No views just plain roads but property itself gave a jungle vibe. We had a pleasant stay. Service was quick,food was good.

Amazing stay. Best hospitality. Nice place for relaxing and spending time with your loved ones. A must visit in Chikmagalur.

The location was delightful, offering a vibrant atmosphere and stunning surroundings. However, the dining service left much to be desired and could benefit from significant improvements to enhance the overall experience.

Beautiful property, amazing service, great for vegetarians! staff is excellent and super helpful! It is in a centre location with a little bit off trail in between forest!

They need to work improving the food taste and quality. As well suggest to change the menu . Otherwise everything else is good

Gateway Chikmagalur location and property is great get away if you are looking for a resort in Chikmagaluru. We went on weekday, hence the rate was very reasonable thru MMT. Breakfast spread was decent and taste was good. We did not try lunch or dinner from hotel as we felt it was too costly and there were lot of options in Chikmagalur where you can try authentic malnad cuisines. There will be lot of monkeys roaming around the property but again that’s part of being around the nature.

We stayed for one day at Gateway Chikmagalur and were wowed by the outstanding service and beautiful surroundings. Very pleasant experience with beautiful interiors full of plants, regional wooden carvings and artwork. The resort is on a forested hill so you can hear the birds as you wake up. We opted for the breakfast and dinner buffets. While the food was decent, the spread could benefit from additional variety including local items (particularly desserts) as well as vegetarian options. Very memorable stay, and will be coming back for more if and when we visit this part of the country.

Food quality and services were bad. We ordered Pasta while we got something else. After some time, they realised their mistake and served the ordered item. At restaurant, we ordered Thai Curry. We waited for 45 minutes and when we ask for the same, they informed, it’s not available.

Excellent property.... courteous staff...nicely maintained....Rooms are big and breakfast buffet spread is great.

We were a family of 4 and had a good time at the Gateway. Quite, peaceful property, good clean rooms and very good food as well. The staff are all very courteous and attentive. Best stay in Chikkamagalur. The staff is super friendly and prompt in servicing customers. Food is really good.

Stay at Gateway Chikmagalur was really great, all the staffs were extremely polite and well behaved.

The stay was very good. The food staff everything was perfect. Few things that caj be done to improve the stay is live music , which stops at 8 could be extended to 9-9:0 atleast. People go to enjoy and relax. Music helps.

The property was ok but the food was below average for the price they charge. Not a great experience. Strictly avoid. we had to get out of the property every day for lunch and dinner as the food served wasn’t great. Even the breakfast spread was the same for all days and some of the food was even stale. The management needs to take a reality check for the prices on the menu and the quality/ taste of the food served. The staff doesn’t look motivated to work though they kept a smile on their face. Wake up call for the management to set things right specially on the food!

Overall experience was excellent. All the staff members were very pleasing and professonal. Food was very good, location was superb. One of my best vacation experience
