Ashhok Hassan

We stayed in 3rd week of October for one night on our way back from Kudremukh. We opted for dinner + breakfast combo while booking. Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Location is awesome. Services were great. My wife had to attend to an urgent office work. The team managed bump up the wifi speed for her work on request. Some improvement areas are, I had to call for TV, towels etc. because someone had put battery in wrong order. They should have checked these things upfront before allocating the room. Overall, it's definitely worth every penny.

The rooms were a little muggy and the linen was extremely dirty. While its an old property, there is scope for cleanliness to be improved. The good things, location is quite central and people help when you ask for things to be taken care of.

we reached at 9pm but the front executive is watching the TVS and not listening us. front executive shouted towards us and ask us to wait. breakfast is too bad no service at all. I will never book this hotel in future. Horrible experience,the worst treatment I ever experienced.

location is the heart of Hassan and the property is rich in ambience . Food is really good and having many varieties in the complementary break fast

Good location, not maintained well, staff is not trained well. Restaurant is not maintained well. Table mats were very dirty

Property is awesome. Food is good. But the service is awful. They just don't serve. And the location is not close to restaurants and shopping.

This property is pathetic. I would not recommend to any one to visit this property. The staffs are very rude and unprofessional. No respect for the guest..no good rooms very untidy, dusty and dirty..food is not served on time and the staffs don't respond to you.please do not visit here.There are many good hotels in Hassan other than Ashok.

The location is the USP. Its in the city centre, drivable distance to tourist places, the best medical facilities in the best hospitals within walking distance. Was actually surprised to see previous reviews of the food in its restaurant being called bad. We had the yummiest breakfast, lunch/dinner served to us, with the buffet having a variety of spread. The chef was kind enough to come over and exchange a few words and enquire about the food. Anyone planning to stay at The Ashhok Hassan should avail the MAP plan. Its totally worth it. the travel desk gentleman Mr Suresh helped us with a car and driver for local sight seeing, at nominal rates and a special shoutout to Mr Naveen, our driver, who was the most polite and skillful driver we could've asked for. And last but not the least the wonderful and efficient girls at the reception, Ms. Soumya and Ms. Neha. Always ready with a smile and willing to help. Thankyou to one and all, for having made our stay comfortable.

Overall experience is ok. Hotel is decent, clean room, food is ok. Room maintenance needs attention. Room safe didn’t work, wash basin and health faucet are chocked and water flow is very poor. Hotel can’t provide you late check out for even an extra minute.

The room's was just about average. Could really improve on the ambience. The Mini Bar was just an empty freezer. The bathroom was also quite small. Swimming pool shown in the pictures were under maintenance for both days of my stay.

Well...the hotel was old...window was broken on the ground floor...hence mosquitoes were coming in...when we informed the staff, they were clueless...what to do... The Manager big guy was yelling at the staff in a loud voice🙆🏻‍♀️ There was one guy at the reception speaking very rudely...obviously learnt from his boss I guess... Toilet seat had scratch marks and not well kept...the bathroom tiles had dirt...taps were broken...sink was unclean... Bedsheets washed but yellow and worn out...same as the towels...basically dint look like in the pictures... Pls look carefully before booking

First i was surprised i will get good hotel, It’s was good stay, felt like breakfast price more I can compare to 3start hotel Nice safety features, and well maintained through out hotel

Comfortable stay. Location is very convenient and the hotel staff is very co operative. The overall ambience is good.

Though centrally located it is an exceptionally quiet place with lots of greenery around. Ample car parking is an additional bonus. Apart from complimentary breakfast, complimentary hot beverages and freshly made snacks in the evening make the place even more attractive. Add to this round the clock supply of hot water for shower. Service staff more than compensate for their apparent lack of experience with their eagerness to look after all your needs.
