The staff was very bad. They will ask extra cash and if you are not ready to give money they will cancel your booking also.

The location is optimal. However, the property itself could use some more love. Very clean, but it doesn't appeal to the eye. Very friendly owner, and there are now a lot of options nearby to choose from in terms of food. Overall, it is a quaint place with trees and clean small rooms, but MMT seems to be charging a lot more overhead than the actual price if I was to stumble upon this hotel by chance. There was almost a thousand rupee difference.

the stay was an average experience due to a few basic expectations not met properly. 1. booking was made for 4 rooms each to occupy 3 guests, but only 3 rooms were provided (2 rooms occupying 3 guests each and 1 room to occupy 6 guests that too with an additional bed on the floor). 2. ⁠the owner was very much arguing initially that only 2 rooms can be provided (that too on a humanity basis etc) after he agreed to provide 4 rooms, but finally offered 3 rooms only. 3. ⁠there was some construction work going on in the hotel (to build some ac rooms towards backside of the hotel) due to which there was some dust and dirty environment around the rooms. 4. ⁠the basic necessities like drinking water was not available. even the blankets were provided only after demanding/requesting them (that too to a single room, but 2 other rooms were not provided as they couldn’t request for blankets due to unavailability of the room service person near the property for almost 2 hours in the evening). 5. ⁠the extra bed provided to the larger room was also provided upon multiple requests at around 9:30pm (even though the owner agreed to provided it towards the evening, he was not even available in the property in the evening) 6. ⁠even the mosquitos were there throughout the night which caused few bites on the infant and us. the mosquito repellent liquids were provided to a single room when we complained about it, but other 2 rooms were not provided any as they slept off before 9:30pm. 6. ⁠the owner was claiming that he should get some rs. per room for each room during the season like this (dec end week) multiple times during my conversation with him. but he couldn’t understand my plight taking my whole family (11 guests with an infant) to such a place by paying rs. and getting 3 rooms and that with such substandard experience. 7. ⁠overall i feel that the experience was very good and felt bad by choosing such a hotel. 8. ⁠when i asked about the alternative option if owner insists on 2 rooms (or 3 rooms), the support team was not providing any alternative option. if i had to cancel the reservation due to these issues, support person was not ready to provide me the refund as well. so i was forced to stay in that hotel since i will lose my money if i cancel it.

Washroom is in very bad condition, all rooms are non ac, cots are poor quality. Room walls are dirty with stains. Not family type.

Poor quality rooms, smells like garbage/drainage. Dont refer the pictures of this property it is decades old, there is no proper lighting and property is dirty inside and outside. Date at time of this review: 7/4/2023.

The property is located at the marvante beach road on the opposite side of the beach and gives beautiful views and monsoons adds to its beauty, on the contrary the property is very poorly maintained. The room, the bathroom, the sheets, the fans etc are all poor. Not for a family, the price we pay for the rooms is not worth. The bathroom is bad and stained all over

Property was too old, not clean, rooms have holes which attracted mosquitoes, food is not available in the room and they will not provide water bottles, soap, towel etc. No hot water available, beds and cots are very bad and do not expect any comfort at all.

The hotel was pathetic, not at all clean and tidy, dilapidated property, looks like a haunted house, lot of mosquito, not slept for even a minute, rain water was seeping inside when drizzling, dust and smudge everywhere, it is better to stay in a hut compared to this hotel. But hotel owner was good to the extent that he agreed with all the problems we faced, but still not provided full refund as he expected us to complain for the same at midnight (we checked in at 11. 30 pm. I wanted full refund but settled for 50% as they have provided hot water for having bath, which is the only service we got.

Horrible hotel is the least to say. The hotel is unclean, beer bottles strewn all around, no power, no caretaker. We just walked out of this place. The owner didn't respond to the calls nor attended to us. Couldn't even get refund. Money lost. Suggest other travelers to exercise caution while booking this property.

Management and hospitality were wonderful. Staff behavior was also good, they were courteous. Clean and spacious room with the basic facilities they have provided me. Food was delicious. Property ambiance and the location was very peaceful. Value for money property.

Very near to Beach very peace full very awesome to enjoy

Property location was nice but it needs to be improved. There was no staff except a caretaker. No proper facility was there. The caretaker was a very kind person. Property situated in a remote location. Good for bachelors.

Though the location is brilliant, the hotel is not clean. Washrooms are dirty. Beds are bug infested. Besides it is an hour away from Udupi.
The room overall was bug infested. The last time the sheets were cleaned, we we're still ruled by the British. I couldn't bathe in the wash-room because I was scared it would dirty me further.

This hotel says resort but it is not even minus 1 star. Hopeless hotel hopeless management. When we went there no one was present. There was one phone number which I called and the owner said one person will reach there. There have us one room which was again hopeless. We somehow kept out luggage and went out for sea beach. When we returned there was no one again. This hotel is on the highway and I was fully worried if someone stats with family what would happen in night. We left after we Beach.

Very poorly maintained. Infested with insects. Stinky beds. Suited for adventure seekers. Enjoy the exclusivity though. The owner is very friendly and cooperative. Okayish restaurants nearby. Evening beach is awesome and you will find many fishing boats.

The rooms were very standard and given the fact that it's on Highway we were scared. But after staying the first night that went out. Just cross the road to go to beach. The restaurant outside serves awesome food with room service at cheap rate. Landlord was good. If you are OK with very standard rooms, this is awesome place to stay.

Please let me make it very clear in the beginning that 'Resort' word is misnomer. No kidding. Resor don't come at this price. Lodge would be more appropriate to describe this place. It is most basic accommodation, just a place to sleep. Room is spacious but with red tiled double slope roofing without false ceiling supported on wooden beams. Naturally, there are spaces where roof rests on wall slopes, which are used by mosquitos/insects for entry and exit. No mosquito repellants were provided. I arranged my own coils and liquid. Used two coils near both beds and liquid repellent too. It didn't work. Had to switch on light and that worked. Being off-season, cleaning is done once in awhile. Hot water was supplied in the morning in bucket. TV was not working. Mr Srinivas informed that it is inherent problem of coastal area that electronics get corroded and need frequent repair. Only plus point of this place is sea which is visible from the room but it is 100 metres away. Good for intervening walk. There is village nearby, and a river within one kilometre walking distance, which is scenic place. There is a beautiful photogenic temple in the village. I knew what I am going to get. So got no shock.
