The host was very helpful and the location is right in the centre next to the water metro and in walkable distance every tourist spot in Fort kochi.The maintenance of the heritage building is on spot and the rooms were spacious enough.

Doesn't matter if you are going to fort kochi with family or friends. this place is top notch and very close to fort kochi jetty. just 2mins walkable distance. all major sight seeing places are very nearby and you can literally walk and cover the entire fort kochi from here. Markus is very kind and helped us alot during our stay. they have complimentary breakfast and it's super awesome and delicious 🤤.

Terrible would be an understatement. It was our worst ever experience with any stay. The whole place had a very creepy, unkempt, dirty environment with garbage The walls were ladden with fungus and mold and got severe allergies. we couldn't even stay for an hour and checked out.

I booked this property a day b ppefore, and when I went there to my utter dismay, they informed me that rooms are full at 11 pm. I was shocked and clueless about where to at that point of time in midst of the heavy rain.

Clean and hygienic but an issue mosquitoes bites in day and night. Use mosquito spray or a plug-in device that keeps them away.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The food was excellent. Mr markus, the director of the hotel was very friendly and hospitable. He has a good knowledge of cochin and gave very good suggestions. He is also a great cook. Overall we had an excellent stay. 5/5. 5. 5. Good value for money

It was pleasure to stay at ballard bungalow, a 300 year old but well maintained heritage building. The owner and the staff is polite, co operative and looking after all the requirements of the guests with general cleanliness, provision of facilities and delicious veg or non veg food.

I was conveyed on the last minute that i will not be accommodated at ballard bungalow and was offered my money back with a sorry. But to my utter disbelief mm t is still asking for my feedback on my stay.

We stayed at ballard bungalow for a week and it was a home away from home. The room was spacious and comfortably air-conditioned, with a high ceiling and enough furniture to work and relax. The best part of the stay was the excellent service and good food. We had breakfast and lunch for most of the days and it was really tasty and like home food. Marcos, the manager, satheesh, the chef and all the staff were friendly, hospitable and responsive to our needs. I will definitely stay here again if i return to fort kochi.

A charming heritage bungalow which is right opposite aspinwall house. The rooms are clean and the service great. The delicious, value for money meals served are a bonus. I have stayed here before and would definitely stay again. Marcos the manager and sateesh, the chef, are ever attentive and do their best to make you feel at home.

The location of the ballard bungalow is perfect if one is here in kochi to explore the biennale.

Situated at a very convenient location. It was a lovely experience with the host mr. Markose being an excellent host. Goes to all extents to make his guests comfortable. Never a no from him.

A laid back place with an old world charm. Makes you feel in sync with the history that fort kochi is steeped in. The bungalow is decently maintained and has reasonable amenities. The staff are courteous and friendly. Marcus, the manager, is an amiable guy who helps you out with every request - be it travel arrangements, local inputs or recommendations.

The plus points of the hotel are 1) The location, 2) friendly staff especially markus 3) big large beds what could be better 1) Maintenance of windows and the overall structure there were lots of mosquitos. 2) Restaurant 3) Bathroom accessories it's an old structure in a good location good for a budget hotel
