Not clean room bed bathroom very worst very bad smell but amount very high itching bedsheet towel

Even when they had enough rooms, they charged us 500/- extra for early check in. The washroom was horrible. The maintenance was horrible. The washroom stinks. And when we asked for an extra bedsheet, they gave us one with a hole in it. The staff were kind of rude. Not all of them, but a few of them were.

The stay was super and property was so clean. Worth a penny. I would recommend.

property looks good by outside however it was terrible experience. As there was issue with bed and Matraisss as I experienced itching over the body and not able to sleep at night. additionally when i checkin in afternoon i experienced same and i complained with hotel manager but he didn't took it seriously and only changed bedsheet cover, which not solved problem. Same problem appeared in night and i woke up at 2.00 am morning due to Itching over the body and not able to sleep. i advised to impose strict penalty on hotel for not maintaining Hygiene.

Location is very comfortable, very near to temple and walkable and lots of food shops nearby, during a wak hours like morning and evening due to crowd, you have park the vehicle in main road and walk to the hotel, afternoons are fine to bring the vehicle near the hotel. Clean place and very comfortable and facilities are good

I had stayed for one night. Didnt faced any problem. The stay was comfortable.Only thing is that they dont have any parking facility. The staff were helpful

The hotel location is just too good if your are on pilgrimage to Chidambaram temple. The Hotel itself doesn’t serve any food but there are enough decent restaurants in close proximity. The room, toilet, bed and linen are neat and clean. Room service needs drastic improvement. On the whole definitely a good place to stay for one day/one night to visit temple.

As our visit was purely a temple visit , the temple was just a walk away. Except this no more normal facility were available such as bed coffee as no early morning hotel services are available nearby. Drinking water was provided on the first day. 2nd day morning no water was provided. News paper not provided. More over rent is very high. When enquired at counter single room were not available was the reply. Five minutes later a single room was made available. Room service very pathetic. Better not to write more. But won't recommend to anyone

Nice service .Very courteous people and comfortable place to have dharshan. Lacking there is no lift facility and car parking.

Went with family as two members but denied stay in hotel. Then requested for single room stay but not even ready to hear anything from our end. NO REFUND, NO STAY. However they let other people to stay and will get rent. Nice business. Keep it up.

I actually booked it with a wrong date and make my trip never responded back. And the property also never responded and they wanted me to settle it with make mytrip, and make my trip did nothing !!! I have completely lost the amount which I paid for the stay, I know it’s nonrefundable but either the property or make my trip should respond

Next to East Nadai of Nataraja Temple. Very nice place and we'll maintained. Everything available and Ananda Bhavan nearby for excellent food. Everything walkable.

The property is very old, poor cleanliness, bad odour in the room and bathroom and no car parking. Only advantage is its very close to the temple.

Small room. Bad smell in the bathroom. The only benefit is location. Overall not worth it for the money we have spent.

One probably can't stay closer to any major temple than this. The lodge is right next to the doorstep of the East Tower. Great way to visit the temple for multiple darshans - day and night. I took the opportunity to attend the Ardha Jamam (late night/ last) poojai - around 9.40 - 9.45 pm for Govindaraja Perumal and 10.00 - 10.30 pm for Nataraja. I even got to join a swami porapaddu (procession), accompanied by an elephant, out of the East Gate as late as 11 pm! My top lookout of a clean toilet was well met. My only issue was that the cupboard wasn't completely cleaned before my check in. Given that I checked in only at 9 pm, there was plenty of time to do a thorough job! I also had to request for a towel. The lodge offers to have Food & Beverages fetched from the neighborhood. Since there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, this was not a major issue for me - especially since I was travelling alone. Understandably, this close to the temple, there is no car parking available immediately near the lodge. Again, this was not an issue for me since I had taken the (Thiruchendur bound) afternoon train from Chennai. Overall, quite happy I chose to stay at Arudhra Residency this trip.

Very nice place to stay. It is located just to Chidambaram Natarajar temple. Not a 3 Star hotel, but it’s clean, spacious and comfortable. Good restaurants are next to this building.

normal hotel but one senior staff was not polite in talking and not cooperating. need to teach him how to talk to customers
