Review Of Amba Regency

I have been in Amba for a week, the staff is good and polite. Beautiful place with good rooms, nice open space restaurant with best views. must visit

Bad rooms, unhygienic rooms no proper cleaning, very bad experience, very bad smell appearing from the bedroom, bed, blankets. Uncleaned washrooms with no cleaning, water coming from the floor of the room, no ventilation in the room. Feeling suffocation in the rooms, cant sit on the toilet seat as there was a pillar in the centre of the washroom. Bad experience

very poor condition of room and washroom. Washroom was too small. Hot water not working Room Service too late. Fan doesn't work properly

We were initially assigned an extremely bad, shabby, smelly and suffocating room based on the MMT booking. However when we approached reception the upgraded us to a better room at an additional cost

The room was not very clean and there was bad smell in room and there was no ventilation in room. One most important thing was that the cleaners came in the room without any permission and when we were outside the hotel . They didn't inform us about this . The good thing was that the location of the hotel was good .

I am very old customer associated with MMT, however in consecutive two hotels booked through MMT have given pathetic experience , as hotel ratings and pics are so great that any customer get lured by the same and booked them. However, when we reached property/ hotel and match with reality then it is completely big sock for life and also they treat customers of MMT as unwanted Cust. Also , there is no immediate access of cust support team of MMT to raise our concern and finding solutions.

property location, food and services were excellent whereas the room conditions are not pretty well. dampened rooms have deducted the points of the quality food and services. behaviour of the staff is also highly praiseworthy.

It was not value for money the amount I paid. The room was well decorated but it was not well cleaned. Liquid hand wash was not available but only soap. Shower gel or shampoo were not available.

The property was dark, shabby and very unclean. It is very unprofessionally managed and hygiene happens to be a big issue. The food served by the hotel restaurant was so stale that we immediately had food poisoning. Book it if you want to ruin your trip. A big NO. 4

It was a very bad experience at Hotel Amba Regency, Gangtok. I booked 1 Super Deluxe Room with Sofa and 1 Family Room with Sofa. But In super Deluxe room with sofa, there was no Sofa. I could not find any in these very cozy room. In these room TV was not working, electricity also disturbing but electricity was there at Hotel. For this I could not use Gizer even in the cold weather.and from these room very bad smell was coming.and as per they promised on MMT, there was no center table, no sofa, no electric kettle, no news paper, no slippers and finally no housekeeping. And In another room it is same problem.enen in another room there was some cockroach . And one very big issue that our dinner and breakfast was complimentary that’s why they treated us just casually. Even waiting after one hour they did not giving our dinner. After that one hour more at 10.30 pm they are given the food. For this type of behaviour and delay Service the next day did not taken the breakfast. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Very bad experience.

The hotel room was very dirty.. Insects spiders were there in the room. Service was also poor.. Got towel after several followups by late evening Even while checkout the staff behaviour was very rude. At 6AM in the morning he was not waking up to open the locked main door entrance of the hotel. He even used cursed word when asked to take out the luggage from room to main gate.
