Hello Mr. Athur Singh, Just to clarify the situation regarding your statement: we called you before your arrival and informed you that there was no electricity in Varkala due to bad weather conditions, which you were already aware of. During that call, we also mentioned that if you wished to cancel the booking, we could offer a full refund. However, we made it clear that once you arrive at the property, the refund option would no longer be available, as we had already informed you about the issue. You responded by saying it was totally fine and that you were aware of the weather and electricity problems, and that you would decide after checking the property. Upon arrival, you said you would take a look and get back to us, but you never called or informed us further. So, we assumed you had decided not to stay. Later, we received a call from MakeMyTrip saying you were requesting a refund — which, as we explained earlier, was not possible since we had already informed you about the situation in advance.

Dear Sir, Clarification Regarding Your Booking We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We understand that you initially booked a Non-AC room, assuming it was an AC room, and only realized this upon arrival at the property. You requested an AC room at the same rate as your Non-AC booking. As a courtesy, we provided you with a blanket, though you mentioned otherwise in your review. We strive to offer fair pricing and transparent listings. Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide an AC room at the same price as a Non-AC room. We had informed you of the additional cost for upgrading to an AC room, but you insisted on an AC room. Later, you mentioned that the price for the Non-AC room was too high. We kindly request all our guests to thoroughly check the room details, photos, and amenities before booking to avoid misunderstandings. A deluxe AC room is not available anywhere. Dear Jennifer Ann Joy. We acknowledge the issue with the plug socket and are working to address it soon. Regarding the bathroom, this is the first time we’ve received such feedback, and we ensure all rooms are secure. The room provided was among the safest, and we have night security in place to prevent any issues. It’s possible that returning late from New Year’s Eve celebrations may have heightened your concerns. Considering the New Year crowd of nearly 20,000 people in the beach and for you after enjoying new year celebration coming after 1:00am might have caught you the fear and the vibrant atmosphere until morning, we understand the situation may have been overwhelming. We request you to check the photos and the resort details clearly before booking the room so that it might reach your expectations and if you can increase your budget as well. You've also mentioned that (Also talking about the safety of the room, the room was not that secured with just one easily breakable lock) we have safety concerns for our guests so we won't let anything such kind of lock breaking things and all happen here, but yeah we will implement this in future if we have complaints like this again. Also about (and the bathroom was also not that safe given the fact that people could easily peep through from the outside and i actually experienced something bad about it that night) First of all we apologize if anything such happened for you guys and we were all awake and were in the reception just cuz of safety concerns you could have at least called us informed so that we could have taken immediate actions on that because its not a easy thing just to let it go right? (You also got our Number saved with your during the check-in) we will ensure these things with our other future guests. And you have also mentioned that (So I would not recommend this property to anybody else and given the price of this room for a one night stay it is not at all worthy with the facilities. As for the pricing, you booked for December 31st, a peak period when prices are high across Varkala. The rate you received was actually among the most affordable in our property, and I hope only because you got for cheap price you Choose our property because its Average rooms as you mentioned, for cheap price. And also thank you for appreciating us (Staff) and we will improve all things you've mentioned and make our property as possible as for recommendable. Hello Biju Vijayan, thank you for your feedback "Not good, no drinking water, no tv, only thing is the room was clean, it’s not worth of the rupees paid and it’s a non ac room and we can’t see the sea from there balcony. It’s about the rate should be below 1000. before booking a place you should check all the facilities because we haven't mentioned any of the above things that you have mentioned in the feedback. you looked for a budged friendly place and you booked our property, paying for a normal hotel and you can't expect 5 star hotel facilities, and the prices that you booked was a season price everywhere it would be high even for normal room, you can't decide what should be our room price sir. Next time its better if you check the facilities before booking so that you wont be having your own expectation just because you feel the price is high. Thank you sir visit us again we will improve things.
