Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s a business-class Elixir Cliff Beach Resort and Spa with a prime location, and the biggest highlight is undoubtedly the breathtaking beach access and stunning sea views. The swimming pool is beautiful, well-maintained, and a great place to unwind. One thing that truly surprised us was the food. We honestly didn’t expect to find such delicious Chinese and North Indian cuisine in Kerala, but every meal exceeded our expectations. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. I had come across a few negative reviews on YouTube and Instagram Reels before booking, but after staying here, I can confidently say many of those claims seemed exaggerated. The location is fantastic, and the overall experience was much better than what some online content suggested. The only area that really needs attention is the bathroom. It was poorly maintained—some taps were loose, a few fittings didn’t work properly, and the overall condition definitely requires maintenance. It’s the only reason I’m not giving this place a perfect rating. With a little investment in bathroom upkeep, this Elixir Cliff Beach Resort and Spa would easily become one of the best places to stay. The location, views, hospitality, food, and amenities make it well worth a visit.

The location of the property is marvelous. It's located right on the cliff in the south of Varkala. it's located at a walking distance from very good cafes on the South Cliff, like Sarwa and Trip is Life. Plus they have beach access right from the resort itself it feels like you have a private beach to yourself whenever you go in the morning or in the evening. The staff is very courteous and generous in listening to all the requests from the guests. The breakfast had a good number of options and it was tasty as well. Coming to the rooms, I think the rooms need a complete makeover. It doesn't feel like a room for which anybody is paying Very basic furniture. Even the quality was not good in the room and the washroom seems like a makeshift arrangement in the room. They really need to work on the rooms. 1/5 for the rooms. Despite the fact that rooms condition is bad they are attracting tourists because of their location. If they work on their rooms they can charge a premium amount. That's for sure. Also a suggestion to include a kids' area or some slides and swings because there is nothing for kids to do. Overall a good stay experience except the time I spent in the room.

The stay was good and the access to beach was super. Need some cleaning in the swimming pool earlier as the opening time is 8am and the staff starts cleaning only at 7.55 am, which is difficult for the guests to access. Food was quite good and still can add 1 or 2 dishes to the non-veg menu. The bread toaster is kept in the kitchen so many guests don't know that bread toast is done and can have the egg counter visible as many guests don't know. Thank you for the good stay.

Indeed, very good property to stay.. specially if you are looking for sea view in Varkala. Rooms without sea view is good only if you are not particular about sea view.

Property is in a great location. Food was actually really good but the property needs a great amount of maintenance work done. AC units might break and fall on customers head any day. Staff and everything else was super.

The experience was great. The staff helped with everything. There was a medical emergency as well and the staff handled the situation very nicely. The food was great and of very high quality. Also the ambience and the room service was top notch. Pool was well maintained and cleaned.
