Review Of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru

Very limited veg options...booking dinner and breakfast was a waste. For dinner only option was dal, rice and fruits which we didn't expected for a 4 star restaurant. BF also had limited options. They even charged for cutlery ordered for room service. Stay was okay!

Very good hotel. Large rooms. Close to ciq and jb sentral. No free wifi which is odd as most large chain hotels offer this.

The property is very well located and it was a comfortable stay.

Room was small but comfortable. Was odd that you had to pay for the wifi unless you choose to become a member of their program. Thought wifi was a given at this price point. The area around the hotel is being dug-up and hence walking around may not be very pleasant though i think this would be temporary. Breakfast spread was good with malay, chinese and indian dishes

Stay was very comfortable. Staffs services are very good. Closer to the City. Toilets are clean. But no one is there to assist at swimming pool and in the spa.

The room was good, clean. Service was good. Breakfast was awesome, more than enough menu. Lots of indian food for breakfast.

Good hotel value for money, breakfast is good a separate Indian confined area for Indian breakfast lot of verieties. Very clean and located very near to Singapore malaysia border. Just cross the cosway and you are in Singapore.

Stayed here just for one night during Ramadan. Excellent hotel with good facilities and excellent service as expected from any Hilton hotel. Staff were quite courteous and were eager to attend to my queries. They provided a baby cot even though I had not requested initially. As it was Ramadan period, the buffet closed quite early at 10 pm, but the staff were courteous enough to provide me a sumptuous meal later in the night as well, I could have ordered in-room dining, but opted to eat at the restaurant. From the my room on the 26th floor the view was amazing and could see Singapore just across the river/lagoon. The location is also quite good, just 1/2 an hour from the airport and close to the town center, with all amenities including Indian dining options in close vicinity. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans a visit to Johor Bahru.
