Terrible and shady place to stay, no reception

soloI went to check in at this hotel at 3:40 am local time. I wasn’t expecting them to give me a room immediately if they didn’t have one available. Although i was willing to pay extra if they did. The awful thing was that they didn’t have any proper reception, it was just a parking lot with a man sleeping in a room there telling me that there’s no room until 2:00pm. He could barely speak english so i couldn’t get anything he was saying. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe to stand at parking lot so late at night that i had to forfeit my booking and go to a hotel that at-least had a reception and a door where i could wait. I immediately called makemytrip asking if they could help me in this situation, but they were completely useless too. The hotel did not even provide me a refund for the second day that i was not going to stay there.
