Review Of Rosedale Hotel Kowloon

It's a Hotel near to Olympic MTR which is in heart of Kowloon. Best for professionals visiting HK on work.

The hotel is located in Kowloon area near to major tourist spots and also close to Olympic MTR so easy connectivity to all the places. Small but comfortable room. Bathroom is really very small but manageable because of its design. Wi-Fi did not work for one entire night so need improvements in Wi-Fi connectivity. Maybe some technical issue as stated. Provided with complimentary water bottles and power plug converter. A good to go option for solo travelers.

Considering space crunch the room was small but good for 2 days stay. Check in was at 2 PM however I reached at 11 am. They asked me to wait for 1 hour twice. At 1 pm the reception manager changed and he again asked me to wait till 2. At 2 pm I did not get any priority even though I was waiting since 11 and finally got room allocated around 3 pm. Nice, small room with decent washroom and shower.

The Hotel is 10 min walk from Olympic Station and location is good. The room is clean with all basic amenities, services, and staff is good.

Hardly 10 min walk to Olympic Metro Station and well connected. Easy to come from Airport and also go to Asia expo.

I have booked through company while I reached Hotel after overnight journey. Hotel staff didn't allowed me to check in. I. Poked Hotel for 2 days from 29th September to 1st October check-out. So many called and follow up I did to company but they didn't help me to check in. They resolved my issue at 12 pm on 29th September. Due to that service my all the meeting postponed and I didn't use my room which I booked for 29th September. I asked makemytrip to refund but still they have not refund even team is closing ticket without any clarification. Very bad service of makemytrip whatever number they have provided for hongkong that was also not working in hongkong. Every time need to make international call but still they have took 5 hours to get issue resolved for check in.

Nice Hotel, good location, easy access to nearby places, good rooms, but food is very average. Vegetarians will find the food very less spread. Otherwise all good.

Hotel is nice it has Mc Donald's and 7-Eleven very near. Neat and clean rooms with modern day facility. Sky garden cafe is good and a must-visit.

Good Only bathroom was very small

The size of the room was small but manageable. The bathroom was too small even to move while taking Bath. The location of plug points were illogical and there was not enough light in the room even to dress up. The breakfast was nice but very little option if you don't eat pork and mostly depend on chicken.

Very bad experience, too bad hospitality. They even don't let kids playing or riming in there front office lobby, don't have in room dine, very bad location. Too rude staff Rooms are very small, in India we have washrooms bigger then the room what they have here All guest should check couple of times before booking this hotel Requesting MMT to keep your good standard rather then giving this sort of bad expirence to the guests who trusting you for all there bookings Waste of money

Worst hotel I ever stayed. In spite of booking superior room. Room was very small and congested. No WiFi connectivity. Not worth for money. Would not recommend anyone to book this hotel ever. Will never stay again. Completely disappointing. What is shown in photo in completely different in real.

I stayed at the hotel in the 1st week of Jan (including the new year eve), I can break down the review into following parts : 1. Location - we wanted to stay in the middle of the city and at a place which has easy access to public transport and the hotel did not disappoint. It is located close to Olympic station which connects Disney land/oceans world and Lantau Island. The hotel provides free shuttles to the nearby areas at frequent intervals. 2. Service - We were early and the hotel refused check-in till the actual time (2PM) and had to wait in the lobby. Few hotels provide early check-in but I guess the hotel was full and they were waiting for rooms to be ready. They don't have a waiting lounge and the seats at the reception are not comfortable. 3. Rooms - The rooms are small (literally small) and the washrooms have a funny door that got locked whenever we used it. It took the 2 of us to open the door whenever they got stuck, the hotel did not have a free room so we had to make do with what we had. For Someone who is used to staying at 4-5 star properties, I did not find the rooms to be worth the hotel standard.

I got the 9th floor, window is oppisite the abandoned building. Room is quite small and bathroom is very small. But overall is acceptable by lower price that I can booked because we just take a nap at night. Local fresh market near the hotel and they have shuttle bus to drop off at Mongkok.
