Review Of Astoria Tbilisi Hotel

Astoria hotel tiblisi has a good location, food was good & we all family of 4 liked it. Just Property is old & has a mid 19 century structure. Facilities are less we feel. Carpet smells old. Still liked the property

Couldn’t make it to tblisi and hotel didnt refund the amount too very bad expreince because of this .

As i was solo travellor i had asked for help for luggage.The staff was rude and did not help.Pathetic behavior towards Indians especially as there were other travellors they were kind to them.Not recommended

There was only lift in our hotel and unfortunately not working, secondly no bell boy to get our baggage down but 2men from hotel help us out to get baggage down to Lobby

Nice hotel at very good location. The service at front desk is good and quite helpful. Does have an old hotel vibe though.

Food is very good for the asian people. I love the location is very good. I don't like it when they are not changing the bedsheet cover and they don't have toilet water spray.

location- it's located appx 700mtr from the main freedom square so be prepared to walk the distance for every meal/ outing. you can find some nice eateries in the vicinity including a fabulous thai restaurant called charm thai. food- they only serve breakfast which is quite good. plenty of veg n non veg options. for all other meals you have to step out. language- literally no-one speaks english and hence keep a translation app handy. staff- they are grossly under staffed and there is nothing called room service. a common ironing stand in the lobby for all to use. one house keeping lady does the rounds every noon and they couldn't give a hoot about the "do not disturb " sign outside your door. barring an odd employee, be prepared for reaction less faces with no smiles or warmth whatsoever. transportation- you are dependent on local cabs hence best to install the cab app, otherwise be prepared to get fleeced exorbitant cab fares. install a local sim for the duration of your visit. unlikely to get assistance from hotel. hotel facilities- none whatsoever. the elevator is slower then a snail 🐌. please don't expect any hospitality whatsoever, have zero expectations 🙏. lastly- the staff is too laid back. they couldn't care two hoots about your comfort. a very take it or leave it attitude. a sheer pity since the property has such a lovely potential .

No sliperry mat in the bathtub amenities not replenished daily during housekeeping service our face towel missing it gone out along with other bathroom items. Difficult to get a drinking water nobody engaged us during our stay.

Breakfast is 7/10 location is 1 km away from the city center and all of it is a hike on the mountain to reach the hotel
