I have travelled with my baby and the experience was truly amazing. The care taker- Arup took care of the property very well and it's hygienic. The View from property is amazing as well If anyone is planning with baby to ooty this property I will definitely recommend this property. View was good near to town but room was not cozy enough for cold weather and there was a spider in room

Stay was pleasant. The only problem we find is they don't have arrangements for lunch and dinner. Otherwise it's a super stay.

It was nice experience and I felt like home. The staffs are also amazing. I would recommend for group stay.

Excellent stay for 5 days. The caretaker Raj was very helpful and attentive to all our needs. Jacqueline,Raj’s wife is a very good cook n served us fresh and delicious food. IJK House as it’s called is a well kept property,very neat with spacious rooms having all amenities. Our room had an excellent view too. 💕

They stay was at prime location with great view, hospitality was great and the rooms were clean as well

Its a overpriced homestay as the basic facilities were missing in there like no room service, geysers can be used only in specific timings, no hot drinking water facilities in the room, no lunch provided, dinner options are very little, luggage you have to bring on your own from ground floor to first floor etc. Other than that if i talk about the surroundings if you do not have your own vehicle, there is no public facility or autos available till 2 kms from this place. There are big spiders in the room, common hall etc, and they are so scary that you want to leave the room immediately. Sceneries from the garden is good but they need to improve a lot in service, keeping it spider free, availability if food options etc. Overall its good property but there is lot of improvement needed.

It was a pleasant stay and everything went well except the wi-fi. Wi-fi connection was not available inside the room and hence i had to sit in the lobby for accessing internet. Other than that, the ambience, cleanliness, location etc are spot on. The food was delicious as well. I'd definitely come back to irinjalakuda house!

The cottage is cozy and far from the hustle and bustle of ooty town. The stay was peaceful and the caretaker was utterly friendly. The food prepared was awesome and had a nice homely touch to it. It's a bit expensive but it can be expected at a tourist place. Last but not the least there is a small lawn which provides a great view. Sip on your tea/coffee and enjoy the view.

I was quite impressed! the hotel boasted beautiful interiors, which were tastefully decorated with elegant furnishings. What caught my attention the most, however, was the exquisite wooden furniture that was evident throughout the hotel. It really added to the charm and character of the place. My room, which overlooked the mountains, was simply breathtaking. The view was stunning, and i found myself staring out the window for hours on end. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The home takers at the hotel were also extremely courteous and welcoming. They made sure that all my needs were attended to, and they went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I was a little apprehensive about the quality of the food, but i was pleasantly surprised to find that the home cooked meals were amazing! the flavors were rich and authentic, and it was evident that a lot of effort had gone into preparing each meal. Overall, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting ooty. The beautiful interiors, stunning views, courteous staff, and amazing food make it a truly memorable experience.

Good and excellent place to stay

We as a couple travel-led to ooty and stayed at this beautiful place in mar'23. We enjoyed the garden view and the property in general. The best part of the place is home away from home feeling. Both the caretaker are polite and professional in their conduct. Let me tell you they are great cook and maintain proper hygeine while serving food to guests you can call them chefs making delectable dishes. Property is clean and very close to cherry cross/ooty bus stand which is like central area. Bed linen are neatly washed but i suppose for room heater it was written extra charges(we did not use room heater) scope of improvement in terms of customer experience - the handshower was not working fine. Worst part was that room heater / geyser did not function as expected. They asked to wait for 30 mins to get water heated - this seems a very slow and inefficient process. Thus i am giving the stay as 4 star instead of 5 star. Else no other negative observations. Overall i recommend this place for good stay, delicious homely food and value for money
