Review Of Yashoda Valley View Matheran

There is very bad room service and no change bedsheet and room cleaning, because of monkey there is not possible to enjoy valley view

Nice most beautiful plase and caretaker sandip kadam was very helpful

Room was totally unhygienic, Blankets were not washed properly it stinks badly, Also has cockroach on bed, bathroom was not cleaned there were hairs spread in bathroom also had an electricity issue.

As per website, really the hotel is walking distance from Matheran market. Owner who is maintaining Yashoda Valley Mr. Sandip Kadam was very very polite, friendly and co-operative and guide us. Best rate provided of room with clean. Must visit place and person.

I had visited with my family and had great experience. View from the location is too good and refreshing. Kadam Kaka(owner) is very friendly and will make you feel like family. Rooms are clean, hot water is available, best sun rise view and it is budget friendly.

Food was not good, Room was not clean. Bedsheet was smelling.Hot water was provided.But overall I wouldn't recommend this place to someone.

In the heart of Matheran and hospitality and warm welcome from the owner Mr Sandip Kadam, this property will never let you down considering the balance between cost and stay. Right beside Matheran station and in market everything is within 2 mins. Considering the geyser is not in room, winter needs a little more effort. However rooms are quite spacious with valley view complimented with sunrise - what more an economic deal should look like?

The Yashoda cottage stay was amazing. Room was very neet and clean. Kadam kaka who is (owner/caretaker) was so attentive and helpful. Food taste was too good and home made, we had chicken thali and also Omlette in breakfast. Also we enjoyed beautiful sunrise and mountains view from door itself. Few things which we were fine with us but mentioning as an information, 1) Toilet is Indian 2) Common geyser is available for hot water outside the room. 3) Property and amenities are bit old but fairly in working condition. For those who are visiting Matheran 1st time (This isn't related to Yashoda Cottage) 1) Stay safe from Monkeys. Don't leave objects (bag etc) unattended. 2) Mobile network (Jio) is weak or mostly No Network. Check which service provider network is available and carry that sim as well. 3) Most of the items will cost 15-20% more than the MRP. This is because, for sellers the transport cost is very high due to unavailability of Motor vehicles.

Rooms were good having serene sun rise view from the room.

Property was locket-ed at the heart of matheran. Just few minutes walk from station. Morning sunrise can be seen through the windows only. The room service was efficient. Good person but less technical. The minus is working of their a. C. For the first day was not good( it was not cooling at all )as well as t. V. Even for hot water for bathing we have to wait as no geyser inside bathroom. Overall good calm location with good velly view.

Had a very pleasant stay and excellent experience. The ambience was superb and the view was mind blowing. The owners and the caretakers were very supportive and nice home cooked food was made available. I would recommend everyone to visit this place, ITS VALUE FOR MONEY❤️

Very nice and well maintained place. From the windows of the room you can have a full view of the valley. Mr. Sandip is very helpful and due to him we enjoyed our stay at matheran. Very much recommended for friends and family vacation.
