Terrible Stay
My experiencecwith Wooden castle Waynad: I booked the wooden castle gor 2 days days ie for 30.05.24 & 31.05.24.Ftom Kannur , myself and my wife reached Wooden castle Waynad at around 0140 hrs on 30.05.24 for check in ptoceedure.When we entered the upstairs area it is noticed that the area was covered with full of dust and stains.The room's foul smell was beyond our expectation.As my wife is an asthmatic person we decided not stay there.So we desperately left the place.While returning I cancelled the room for 2nd day is for 31st booking. My consciousness did not permit me to cancel for booking on 30.05.24 as the was occupied gor name sake. So it is suggested that the rooms and sitting area mat be kept clean send dust free before the arrival of booked parties.Windows and doors of the rooms may be kept opened for fresh air even if it was not occupied for days. Good ambience, nice place to stay with family.
The owner, abbas sir was very nice, guided us in all aspects. Provided all the facilities except food.
