Food option was good. Commendable service and polite staff. Room was clean and with basic facilities. Location was a bit isolated but security-wise recommended place.

Hotel staff and service excellent

We were a group of friends with families, a mix of 11 adults and 7 kids. The owners were warm and caring, the place is beautiful. The villas are 5-6 feet away from the lake which is fantastic, the food was homely and quite good. Owners are willing to accommodate additional requests, they offered their advice on local sightseeing and things to do which was of great help. The rooms were neat and clean, ac, geysers work fine, kids had a great time fishing in the canals. Just one drawback- it is hot and humid during day time, it says your energy. It is a good place to relax and chill for a couple of days and not venture out too much.

Very good experience, super location, very good cottage, food is very good, peaceful atmosphere.

The need to pay for lunch and dinner could have been specified upfront

It is a home stay run by Mr. Thomas and family. We, 5 friends, stayed there. Early check-in they allowed and also informed that the home stay is especially for families and not for bachelors. Since we booked online, they allowed us to stay there. Rooms were neatly maintained, Lake view room is awesome. We had breakfast (first-day Puttu and Kadala Kari, second-day Aapam and egg karma). Bachelors should stay away from the property you should not have any party/enjoyment). For families- it is excellent to spend time.

Good experience with the hotel

Stay was below average. Property is not maintain. Nothing was working properly including air-condition, hot water issues, no channels in Airtel box. Over all below average experience.

The food was delicious and was home made.
The room was well maintained. The available blankets were small in size. However, the host proactively asked for an extra blanket which was amazing.

This is a very good place to stay and relax. The food is awesome. It is a huge property next to the lake and the owners are excellent hosts. In the morning I spotted a lot of birds, cormorant, kingfisher, water hen, Drongo, eagle. I would definitely go there again.

The ambiance and climate was awesome,best for honeymoon couples, clam and quite area, homemade food was superb.

The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Great ambience on the side of vembanadu lake. The hospitality is great and we were served with delicious authentic Kerala foods which was awesome. Rooms were clean. Pedal boating and fishing facilities available. Have fond memories of this place.

A nice place to enjoy the nature. Excellent service by the host. Clean room. Homely food(minimum options and no hotels nearby). Value for money.

It's a great site location well developed from heart by a family. Mr Thomas and his family are very cordial & try to give Best hospitality and excellent service. All amenities required to spend a relaxed holiday in a backdrop of lake & village like atmosphere are there. Only challenge is to reach the remote location from vaikom, Google map has helped us. Vaikom Mahadev temple is just 3-4km is a must visit for all Hindus.

The property is great. Very relaxing and quite. Food served was excellent. The issue is in the listing. Both MakeMyTrip and the property has sold the stay as in Kumarakom. But this 25 km nothing of Kumarakom - in fact few km nothing of another major town Viakom.

Highlight is the service of the resort. Really enjoyed the stay. Mr. Thomas and reshmi did their best in serving the guest. The fishing and boating experience is awesome. Really loved the stay over there.

Good home stay worth price. Can enjoy free pedal boat service. Good hospitality and caring by the owners .. Excellent food, enjoying the beauty of vembanand Lake. Can improve the facilities of the park.
