Review Of Velu's Resort, Gudalur

Just checked out of the room I stayed in, and it was really nice! The amenities were great, and the space was comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Stay is good. Rooms and toilets were clean. Tv was not working. It is situated in Gudalur right on the way to ooty.

We had booked standard room for rs 2300 one night on 30sept. Wifi range not available, have to go everytime to the reception to get wifi range. No lights on the way to room, host asked us to use our mobile flashlights. No toilet paper, no handwashing, no tea, coffee, sugar packets, no intercom to connect to reception and most important negative point- even to get a cup of tea you need to go nearby hotel since there no food service . Car parking is like climbing mountain, very risky, steep slope narrow road and chance of car getting dashed

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Good to enjoy with family and friends. The scenic view was mesmerising.

Disappointed experience by naming just bedroom + washroom as Resort. It’s not eligible to be called as Resort. As there is breakfast itself, I had option like lunch/dinner while booking. Caretaker reluctantly provided something to eat, but I lost trust

It was a pleasant stay in velu's resort. Evening and early morning views from the resort is mesmerizing. The staffs are very friendly and guiding especially mirudhun lal bro and 2 others. Don't forget to visit the needle rock near by.

The location is good. They should provide a/c options as well. Overall happy with the stay considering the price paid.

Nestled between the greenery, it has everything one could ask for. Restaurants near by as well. The staff at the reception is excellent especially mirudhun lal. We will come back for sure. Well done. Worth the money for sure. I would highly recommend it.

Terrible experience. Building is pretty old and not maintained at all. No jungle view as mentioned in the description. Tv not working. Power went off in the middle of the night and they only switched on generator half an hour after we requested. No umbrella available as mentioned in the amenities. Only fan located far from the bed. Not even worth 1/3 the charged price.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, good food. The bed matress very uncomfortable.

We stayed with family for a day. Room morning view is good. Staff is friendly and having service mindset.

It's a perfect stay for people who are staying at gudalur. Good cottages with nice views and nearby restaurant and cafe

The approach road to property was difficult to find, as there wasn’t any direction boards. The mountain view were obstructive with huge water tanks in front of property. Not much crowded, the staff were helpful on arranging food and other help.
