Review Of Vagamon Star Hills resort

I stayed in star hills resort with my family, and stay was overall nice. Caretaker Mr. Sreekumar was a very nice and helpful person. This resort is located above a hill, so guests will get scenic views of tea plantations and wagamon town. The only challenge is the car parking. Since the location is above a hill.

very bad experience. No restaurant, as mentioned. it's not as claimed. one person handling from cleaning bathroom to getting eatables. Access is also not normal. Will not recommend at all.

I had a lovely stay at this property! the food was delicious and the view from the bedroom was simply great. However, a word of caution: the road leading to the property is quite steep, so be sure to drive carefully. Overall, a nice and comfortable stay.

Very beautiful location on the hilltop with a spectacular view. Feel like home resort with good authentic tasty kerala food. I would recommend this resort to families travelling to vagamon.

The property and rooms were great. All rooms come with a great view. Food options are very limited. There is one manager/care taker of the property who also cooks. Doesn't give you much options. Better to plan food from outside.

Google map location showing the wrong direction. We went in the wrong direction. When we were approaching the hotel management they came to our spot directly and taken to their property safely. Infrastructure quite excellent. Natural view was awesome. We really enjoyed lot. Hospitality super. Totally they were treated very safely.

A very average small resort with just the room and a view. Make my trip has charged us more than double the rate had we booked directly. The caretaker tried his best to provide good service.

A scenice and confy stay at this super property, we had travel-led as a family and everyone enjoyed the stay and view from the room. The host mohan was very helpful and took good care of us. The food is home cooked and was our choices are valued. An excellent choise for our stay in vagamon. The route to reach the property can be misleading on g maps hence contact the property directly for location.

The stay is comfortable. But cost side is little bit higher and the host is also gud situated in a calm area where we get a good site of tea beds.

The stay in the star hills resort was awesome and one of my best stay. The people ad caretaker are really made my stay life full and I really liked them so much and I tried my level best to extend my stay .. Food — was made with love and care . I liked the food also so much and suitable for all ages . The view from room was mind blowing and how they maintained also excellent I will 200% boom the same resort only whenever me or any of my relatives or friends who plans for vagamon.

Overall location and view is awesome. But road for this resort is very very bad. Auto can go. But going by car very very risky

Would recommend for a peaceful vacation. The place sits on the side of a hill with a beautiful view from the rooms. Only thing is please check the pricing before you order any food. Pros: -a very hospitable host -very well maintained property and clean rooms -aesthetically pleasing and comfortable stay -a very scenic mountain view with tea plantations from the room which you get to wake up to -the food served was yum and delicious cons: unfortunately without asking the host, the price for dinner we have ordered a full grilled chicken and chappathi. Even though we were served 4 pieces of grilled chicken with around 10 chapatis and french fries and salad (which we didn't know was part of the combo) was very good, the next morning when we settled the bill we were charged 1800 for the dinner. Still wondering how was the pricing done :p -it is an uphill climb to reach this place from the main road, so keep this in mind when you are choosing to stay with this place. The uphill climb has got some tricky turns as well till you reach the top, even though it is hardly 1 km in total.
