Review Of Toyam by Orchid Hotels

We stayed for 1 night at the hotel. Location with the small lake and greenery is pleasing. The approach road (dirt lane) could be inconvenient in case of rains. It is close to highway but after we cross the village, it’s a totally cut off from the pollution and noise. Overall a cozy nice place near Pune. Buffet spread for breakfast and other meals have large variety and staff is helpful. Minor things like soothing music, calm sound of flowing water gives mindful experience

Easily accessible from Pune. Property is beautiful and quiet, the way you expect a resort to be. Food was good and the buffet had adequate options to choose from. Amenities and services by staff was up to the mark. In short, pleasant and comfortable stay for family.

The location was pathetic. The staff was hopeless. For everything all they had as an answer was a big NO. I couldnt even celebrate my wife’s birthday properly. No network, No wifi, electricity went 100 times which further led to disturbed sleep. Never recommending to anyone ever this property.

The resort is situated close to the highway yet provides a scenic and serene experience. We stayed in the resort for 2 days and must say the experience was very amazing. The facility is well maintained with very polite staff. The swimming pool and the cafe is very beautiful and nestled in nature. The resort offers activities which involves boat ride which is mesmerising. Overall it was amazing experience.

Property location is convenient. View and ambience is amazing. Best time to visit us After monsoon, when lake is full of water and mountains and green. We stayed in prithvi, rooms are very good. I recommend prithiv over Jal rooms. Food is not that great.

We found property location beautiful, peaceful ,relaxing. Food was delicious there was live counter , live music which we enjoyed a lot. Staff members of toyam are humble and kind.

The property at Toyam is scenic and peaceful, perfect for a calm getaway. The food was good and well-prepared, However, my morning trek and yoga session included in the MMT package were canceled, which was disappointing. For the 23k per night price, the overall experience felt closer to 12-13k in value. Could be better with improved activity management and pricing alignment.

My recent stay at Toyam by Orchid was a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable, the ambience was soothing, and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The food was delicious and well presented. Truly a refreshing and memorable stay – I’d love to visit again!

Excellent experience of hospitality and nature.The staffs were really good , very helpful and made us feel at home.

Overall, our experience was very positive. The food and accommodations were excellent. We did encounter a minor issue with the Wi-Fi, but we were impressed by how quickly and efficiently the staff resolved it.

Amazing Location (by the lake) with amazing spacious rooms. Food and service both were excellent ! Was staying in Prithvi & Jal(Aqua) category rooms and both were spacious. Had opportunity to see other 2 category rooms aswell ( Vayu & Akash) and these were also spacious

The location of this property is really awesome - amidst the Water body, Mountains, & so many Trees. 2. ⁠We realised that this property is abt a year old but it’s not maintained - the approach road even inside the property is left as it is - kaccha & muddy (including the car park area); inside our cottage walls are half painted; bathroom hair dryer on its electrical cord; when requested for a Bar Soap they said they’re running out of stock!! There was just 01 hand napkin in the bathroom & They showed surprise when we requested for the 2nd piece!! There was no Fridge in the room! 3. ⁠The first 2 days we saw the swimming pool very dirty & the filtration plant kept 4. ⁠Most of the staff need proper hotel management training - they have a who cares attitude! 5. ⁠We had informed them in advance that we’re there for Birthday Celebrations, however, they just didn’t bother about it, let alone doing anything special…. 6. ⁠Their spa area was also quite untidy. 7. ⁠No saatvik food…

Food really needs improvement. I had taken the Akash suite. The Bathtub did not have hot water. How can anyone use it. Toiletries are ok considering the price of per night for suite. Staff is absolutely not professional. Please dont get your toddler if you are with one. Access to the location is all mussy. Your car might get stuck. Swimming pool water has all the possible dirt.

It was a calm and peaceful stay at Toyam. We were there on a Mon-Wed slot, still it had many guests. We stayed at Jal cottage which was absolutely beautiful and cozy. Pros: Calm, peaceful environment, friendly staff, good amenities, ayurvedic spa with very good therapists, lush green surroundings, tasty food (veg and non veg), bar by the pool. Cons: Vehicle parking area is muddy and marshy, food even though tasty is little bit on the expensive side,spa bathroom cleanliness could be better

The location was off route from highway (about 3 kms). The property is easy to locate but is a bit difficult to reach probably when the sun is out because the last stretch is not good as it is through some village area. The property is very good, it has a sort of private lake, very close to nature. However, there a few things which we didn't like: 1. Food-> Didn't really live up to a 5 star hotel property. 2. Amenities-> So, generally amenities are free of cost in a property (though there were table tennis and a carrom board free to use) but there were some other activities like archery, rifle shooting which were paid (but not really informed these are paid service). However, the staff is really helpful, and the property is really serene.
