property location is good.
food is good.
staff and service was very nice.
moment I checked in, I inquired about swimming pool, which is I think basic thing in 5star resort, more specifically in lalit Udaipur. upon which I was informed that there is no pool in the resort. I was speechless and shocked at the same time. that how such a lavish resort could not have swimming pool and no where on the website or by mmt it was mentioned specifically that there is no pool in the resort. I think this fact was very well suppressed by the management. I was extremely disappointed by the said fact.
had I been aware of this fact I would have not opted for the resort.
management tried their best to serve me a good stay,,they assured my comfort and I was happy with their servics and approach. but I think if there was no pool, this should have specifically mentioned in the description, because that is basic in every resort in Udaipur, even a 3 star property has a pool. they offered me upgrade of room, and also sent goodies for my son, complimentary coffees etc. which cannot go unnoticed and is appreciated.
hence the fact cannot be, denied that there is no pool,, apart from this,, service, food everything else was really great. one should consider the property if not fond of swimming pool in summers.
