ZANA Lake Resort Udaipur

This property should immediately stop calling itself a 5-star resort — it is nowhere close. The place is severely broken down, poorly maintained, and shockingly untidy. Customer service is appalling. They don’t even provide the most basic amenities like hand towels, face towels, or pool towels — you literally have to beg for them, and half the time you still won’t get any. For a so-called "luxury resort," this is unacceptable. The electricity cuts off every 5 minutes, and when it rains, the ceilings and walls start leaking. The bathrooms are strictly average at best — nothing close to what you’d expect for the price and promises. The only two saving graces here are the food and the view, which barely make up for the complete disaster of everything else.

Pathetic service, cleanness and food quality. One should visit this place only if you have extremely high wish of staying nearby lake & Mountain View and not expecting any cleanness, room amenities & food quality and variety.

Worst experience , Non hygienic hotel , AC was not working, not under category of MMT lux. It should be changed to lower category

Wonderful stay, staff is very helpful. Resort have play room for kids. Resort is attached to udaisagar lake. View is awesome from every part of hotel. Food is delicious.

The property is good, it has a superb location with the swimming pool facing the lake but cleanliness is a challenge. Overall hotel is not maintained well. Food is fine.

Not value for money, the location is no doubt but rooms housekeeping is not good at all, bedsheets and towels are in worst condition

3 nights stay. Location of property is wonderful however, it’s too overpriced. The amenities being provided for the price are very basic. Some basic facilities like electronic safe have been mentioned on resorts site but not provided in the room (despite mentioning to the staff. No stable power system is present as there were frequent power disruptions. Breakfast menu is very common as compared to the price being charged. Evening high tea menu is almost same everyday. Resort is located away from the city hence the cab taxi charges are quite high for sight seeing & visiting the tourist spots (located mostly inside the city. Some good points though : infinity swimming pool facility is good, milk for kids is available at all times with no extra cost & property’s lawn is spacious and well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay at Resort. The ambiance was serene, the property well-maintained, and the location offered a perfect escape from the hustle. The staff was courteous and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, offering beautiful views. The private pool added a luxurious touch to our experience. The food options were good, though there’s room for improvement in terms of variety and service speed during peak hours. Overall, it was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Would definitely recommend it to couples and families looking for a peaceful getaway.

Food was good but service is terrible hotel is showing mini bar but in hotel there is no bar. Restaurant food is good breakfast is good but the service is horrible.

This property is a little away from city like 20-25 mins. Uber works here but you might have to pay little extra. Property is located right on the lake with breathtaking views! Very well maintained outdoors and pool is to die for. Most amazing pool ever! Few things they need to work on is the interiors like room walls n corridors need attention. They should also put some shades near pool area. Food is good but a little expensive. Staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. Amazing choice of music played around the property. They play soothing jazz music

I recently stayed at Zana Resort and was thoroughly disappointed. The property is overpriced and fails to deliver value. In our three rooms, the ACs were non-functional, bathroom ventilators didn’t work, and water drainage was poor. Mini-bars were also inoperative, leaving us without chilled water or drinks during the summer heat. Though the view was pleasant, the balconies were unusable due to a constant swarm of mosquitoes and insects. The lift malfunctioned, trapping us inside for nearly 20 minutes. To add to our frustration, we ordered 12 pieces of bread but were charged ₹590 and given a bill for 4 bread with butter. OverallThe property’s neglect in maintenance and indifferent service made for a disappointing stay. making it an unsatisfactory experience.

The location is great and with wonderful views. The rooms are spacious and have all amenities. The entire staff from reception, restaurant and housekeeping was very cordial and supportive. The food was good too.

The resort is pretty much amazing and location wise is also awesome. There are not many activities only carrom, cricket and bedminton are available. Food wise breakfast is amazing and food quality is also good. The best view of the resort is the lake side infinity pool. Worth a visit.
