it was a pathetic experience, the rooms were not clean, The bathroom comode was unclean due to some cement scraps, the service was poor and food was horrible. none of the things were good however from bell boy to the manager was standing to take the tip

The room was comfortable and clean. Food was good. The staff were courteous.

The key machine was not working when I checked in they had the room opened by housekeeping and asked to come back later for the key; even much later the manager had ti try a dozen times to get a working key. Most importantly the room I has was a corner room on the 6th floor facing a club and loud music till 12 midnight.

It’s an old hotel and it shows! Bathroom is small with very old rusted fixtures and dirty tile grout. Bed comfortable. No view. Grounds well kept but needs footpath for walking. Breakfast was OK

Terrible experience since the time I checked in. The guy at the reception didnot even have a smile and allotted a horrible room. I go in to the room and I realise there is no hot water. I requested the reception to send somebody to fix it. Waited for an hour and no body turned up, then I go to reception and informed them. They said they will fix it, I had a meeting outside so I left. I came back late night and no body attended to the problem. After I made his n cry they changed my room...I go in to the room again there is no hot water and the room is not cleaned. Then the team comes and works till 1 am to fix the problem. Didnot even have the courtesy to clean the room after the work was done. Breakfast is horrible and there is no choice of food. Horrible experience and staff is not at all courteous. I will never stay there again

AC was not working, bathroom fires were not closing. Changed the room still AC was not working.. very terrible.. Staff was saying "cooling hon jayega" but it was hot in the room. Food was not good..

We book king room for 3 days , room is too small . Not worthy to price . Washroom is very small & only bath tub is there no space for shower only . If u r talk u can not take bath properly. Even there shower is also not working . They only focus on other meetings & conference not on other gust. Also there breakfast is worst not much options there . Dinner is also very bad . I never suggest this hotel .

The room is good. When we wanted one more day extention, it was told that the rooms are full. It is fine. We can understand that. We requested for permission to stay till 8 pm. That was agreed to and we are thankful for that. When we vacated at around 7 pm, we were asked to pay 50% of the charges. We agreed for that and thanked them. But we were charged Rs 4000 which is much more than Rs 50%. This has disappointed us. It is this attitude which has hurt us. Thay could have been more considerate and understanding. Otherwise everything is very excellent.

Food and rooms are great . The staff is so friendly that they are always cooperative. Hygienic and good envy

"Old is gold" is perfectly exemplified by the amazing Ashoka Hotel. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful while you literally cannot get a better location and area in Delhi

Since I was traveling for an exhibition and was a short stay I chose The Ashok based on its star rating. To be honest I've had better experience at 3 or 4 star property than this so called 5 star property. As soon as you enter the premises, it reeks of some weird smell of mould. Since it was raining heavily and I was traveling alone and reached late, I didn't have an option to change the property. Anyhow the corridors smell even worse, they upgraded me to executive room but there was nothing special about the room. The room was small and had old furniture and fixtures, The amenities in the room were of extremely low quality, the washbasin in the washroom was not draining the water, in fact there was a clean bathtub but ironically they did not have hot water i mean that's what a bathtub is there for! the handheld shower wasn't working, the main wall shower was leaking and sadly when I called for hot water i was told it wasn't available across the property. The breakfast wasn't edible like the food quality is extremely bad, they served leftover pastries from a day prior probably or even more maybe since it was tasting funny. No variety as per other five star properties I've stayed at. In room dining facility was extremely overpriced and not at all worth the quantity and quality of food. they didn't have basic food items on the menu and I was told if I want to have a meal combo I shall wait until 11PM since they only provide meal combos after 11 PM. All in all I couldn't wait to leave this property, my experience was beyond horrible. They need to seriously upgrade their interiors, amenities, food and service to be called a five star property.

This property now demand more renovation and repairs. Management of itdc is trying best to kill this property brand and image everything. This time feel disappointed
