Review Of StayVista at Corfu and Crete

Our recent stay at Corfu & Crete by StayVista in Karjat was extremely disappointing and far from the premium experience it claims to offer. The property is poorly maintained, with broken furniture, including a sofa propped up with bricks, making for an uncomfortable and unsafe stay. Frequent power cuts with poor power backup made the experience even. Cleanliness was another major issue, as the towels and bedsheets were stained and unhygienic, showing a clear lack of proper housekeeping. The Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable, making it impossible to stay connected. However, the most alarming issue was the presence of hostile locals from the nearby village who tried to extract money from us, creating an unsafe and stressful environment while checking out.. Their claim was that our vehicle brushed the wall and we had to pay for the damage... Overall, the property does not live up to its promises and is not worth the price, making it a regrettable choice for a getaway. StayVista needs to take urgent action to improve the facilities and security, but until then, I strongly advise against booking Corfu & Crete in Karjat.

Nice location, near to thane we reached in 1 hr by road. Great staff and service. Prashant was extremely accommodating and polite.

The caretakers are really generous and took good care of us. The villa is in isolated place. Also, there’s no proper road for 1 km to reach and there’s no road till villa. You will have to park your cars at a distance. The villa is overly priced since the basic electricity is a problem. There’s a lot of voltage fluctuation due to which your fans and AC’s will not work. They do have generators but it doesn’t support the entire day. So its damm hot. The villa is located near to mountains and lush greens, that’s a plus. People who like to take video, reels, instagram, its a good instagramable place. But yes the biggest challenge is electricity which spoils everything. 5 stars to the caretakers for managing it so well and always being helpful.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with StayVista while booking the Corfu and Crete villas. While the properties themselves were good, several issues marred our stay, and the lack of transparency and poor management made it a very frustrating experience. Firstly, we faced constant electricity fluctuations, and the air conditioning was a major problem. Two of the rooms had non-functional AC units, and the ACs that did work were ineffective. This was especially problematic as we had children with us, making it nearly impossible to get through the night comfortably due to the heat. It is perplexing how such a large common hall only had two AC units, which were insufficient to cool the space adequately. Furthermore, we were not informed beforehand that the booking was for split villas of 3BHK each. We had booked with the understanding that we were getting a 6BHK villa altogether. This lack of clarity severely disrupted our plans and expectations for the stay. On the positive side, the food was generally good, particularly the Indian cuisine. The continental food, however, was a disaster. The chef tried his best, but he was clearly inexperienced with this type of cuisine and was helpless. Compounding the issue, only one chef was allocated for our group of 12 adults and 4 children, making it impossible for him to keep up with the demand, which resulted in long waiting times for food preparation. It was not his fault, and the management should have better planned for this. The overall management was extremely poor, culminating in a very terrible experience with the manager. His handling of the situation was far from satisfactory, adding to our frustration. In conclusion, while the property itself was decent, the poor management, lack of transparency, and numerous issues with basic amenities made our stay far from enjoyable. I would not recommend booking through StayVista based on this experience.
