Rooms - nicely cleaned rooms. Too get a feeling of old style cottage, don't expect morden amenities for the room. But you will get a split ac for cooling. It's a beach property and there is so much humidity and rains but i didn't find mosquitos and other insects. They disinfect the room naturally once in a day with smokes. Amenities - this is an ayurvedic beach resort, there won't be anything for the amusement except the spa & massage or any ayurvedic treatment of you opt. But cost of of spa and massage is much higher than thekkady. Safety - it is an isolated property but open from almost all the sides. The lock system are traditionally key lock type. I am not sure if they have any cctvnear the cottages or not. But there are enough staffs so you will feel safe despite all these. Hygiene - as this resort is mostly for the foreigners who stay here to get ayurvedic treatments, hygiene is something they maintain the most. Food - food is a part which most of us won't like there buffet is mostly veg except egg items and with little or no spices in the food. But they give an option for ala carte where you can have food of your choice. The ala carte is good. Staffs - staffs are good. They look little rude but none of them were rude but yes they are strict as people come here for the treatment. Overall, i liked the stay as it has best view from the property. The beach was nice and mostly occupied by the foreigners only. You do get feel like you are in hospitals as you mostly see old age foreigners who come here for the treatments.

Had a pleasant and beautiful stay at mannaltheeram, the place needs two days to explore the beautiful scenery around it. If i plan to go to trivandrum again mannaltheeram would be the first choice.

The resort is on the beach front and the kovalam beach is very clean. The cottages are very nice with geyser for hot water. Property is very clean and well maintained. Most of the guests here are for ayurvedic treatment from europe mostly such as stress treatment but there were vacationers like us as well. Check in and out was smooth.

Nice location. Good view. Well maintained garden and pool. Green grass, blue sea and sand. Nice place to stay and relax. Rooms are good with nice ambiance. Had little problem with ac and then got the room changed. But that room too had problems with bathroom taps. Rest good

The place is beautifully located, access to beach and view of beach is amazing. The ayurvedic massage was very nice.

Our stay was an amazing experience. The location was tight on the Beach which was serene in itself. The staff was so courteous. An overall memorable experience.

Enjoyed the stay here in hotel. Recommended to others. Only seeing one problem here that the staff is very friendly to foreign tourists rather than Indian tourists. Food was awesome specially the North Indian.

It was a perfect place and unique combination of rejuvenation of the mind and unwinding of a vacation. Extremely impressive and will definitely go back again and again with my family.

First thing to say about manaltheeram was privacy second the location of the resort was wonderful staff from front desk to the last security are much friendly but the services provided in the restaurant was no that much worthy for the money you pay especially the lunch and dinner. Other than that every thing is OK. This place is specifically ment for foreigners thoes who come for treatment.

Stay was peaceful and pleasant. We planned on a leisure trip hence picked a beach resort. The beach was awesome. The sound of the never ending waves would definitely be soothing to your ears and not to forget, the greenary is sure a visual treat. Best spot to hang out with family or to just relax. They provide Ayurvedic treatments and Ayurvedic food as well. Food was great, felt lite even after eating too much! They do have a private pool. Loved the stay overall!

It was really bad. Very poor infrastructure, bad hospitality. We were the only Indian couple staying here. All foreigners come here for treatment rather leisure or holidays. I will not recommend for Indians.

Right from the gesture of welcome till checkout every moment spent at manaltheeram was wonderful. Staying in the lap of nature gives eternal peace. Sitting hours and gazing at the mighty arabian see makes you realize the power of nature. Each and every service was excellent. Rooms were very much clean.
