Our stay at this hotel had both positives and negatives. On the positive side, the hotel's location is conveniently close to the market area, making it easy to explore. Although the owner wasn't present on-site, he kept in regular contact with us throughout our stay to check in and ensure we had everything we needed. He also generously upgraded our room, which we appreciated. On the last day, even though we were late in ordering food and the cook had left, the staff on duty made a great effort to prepare a meal for us at the last minute.
However, there were several downsides. Upon arrival, we were told that someone would meet us to guide us to the hotel, but no one showed up, leaving us to find our own way. The hotel does not offer parking, and the road leading to the property is quite narrow, making it difficult for those traveling by car. There was no water available when we arrived, which was very inconvenient. Additionally, the food was overpriced for the quality and taste offered, and the room had a lot of mosquitoes, making it uncomfortable to stay.
In summary, while the owner’s attentiveness and the staff's effort were appreciated, the stay fell short in terms of facilities and comfort. Improvements are definitely needed before we could recommend this hotel.
