Had an amazing stay at Shnongpdeng Riverview Campsite hosted by Morecify! The location is perfect — right by the crystal-clear river with peaceful surroundings. The tents were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. One of the best parts of our trip was the boat ride to Amkoi village — floating through the calm river, surrounded by green hills and clear waters, was an experience in itself. The visit to the village added a beautiful local touch to our stay. Evenings by the bonfire next to the river were magical. Overall, it’s a great spot to unwind, soak in nature, and enjoy some adventure too. Highly recommend it if you’re heading to Shnongpdeng!

Camping experience was fantastic! the host and staff provided excellent hospitality, making our stay enjoyable. The evenings and mornings were pleasant with a cool breeze, while the daytime heat was perfectly balanced by a refreshing swim in the river. The campsite was clean and well-maintained. Worst stay experience - unsafe, no power and no help
Our stay was extremely disappointing and nothing like what was promised. We were supposed to get a tent but were given a shady, isolated room instead. The room was dirty and full of insects like spiders, cockroaches, and lizards. Basic things like soap were missing. The power went out around 11:40 PM, and with no one around to help, we were stuck in complete darkness. We couldn’t even charge our phones, leaving us completely disconnected and helpless. The host didn’t answer any calls, and despite the stay including breakfast, we didn’t receive any and had to find food elsewhere. Overall, we felt trapped and abandoned the entire night. This experience was unacceptable and not something we expected from a MakeMyTrip-listed property

As per booking. You are supposed to stay in a tent and there is no breakfast included as per booking.The weather is good and fine however you are convinced me to get you a room which I have shown you four rooms that's available. You choose yourself which 3000/- room while your booking with me in a tent is just 1000/- that the one you stayed. In related to power , the current went off the whole area at 11 pm approx. With in 3 minutes we provide current with(fuel generator)till morning. I think 3 minutes late is just unfair with what you have said. Reminder you left early and your dinner bill also left without clearing and when call you didn't answer. The picture is not in our room that is not the colour of our guest house please. You find difficulties anywhere else and you post it in here. Reminder that every call was answering. The room was initiated with mmt as the room cost with the tent cost didn't match so they have to pay extra from their side. If you seen my reply do clear our dinner bill which is 650/- .
Terrible Stay
Nothing more than basic tent rentals , no quality of stay at the place , there are stray dogs around the tent , we need to use common public toilet facility which is away from the place of stay . No drinking water , no hot water for bathing even on colder days. My personal advise to family people not to venture out in these tent stays.

Dear, Dhinakaran jalendren, As MENTIONED IN OUR DESCRIPTION, our campsite features shared washroom facilities located at a short walking distance and caters to a YOUTHFUL and ADVENTUROUS CLIENT.Due to heavy rainfall We did offer you an ALTERNATIVE HOMESTAY option at 7 PM, WHICH YOU INITIALLY ACCEPTED with GRATITUDE. However, WE RESPECT your DECISION to STAY in the TENT as YOUR TWO SONS just WANT to STAY in the TENT EITHER WAY. There are FOUR SHOPS which you can get the HOT or COLD WATER which is 3 steps away from the camp. We take your feedback seriously and will consider it for future improvements. Dear Saikat Roychowdhury , We apologize for the issues you faced during your recent stay. Regarding the washrooms, we have 12 separate facilities for ladies and gents. The electricity shutdown was a safety precaution due to heavy rainfall. Thank you for your understanding.
River Camping Done Right
Hospitality was a 10/10 by Morecify. The experience was simple and serene with a breathtaking view right outside the tent. The one downside is that the check in time of 4PM is too late, didn't really matter for me though cause I showed up at 5 anyway. The washrooms are shared among the other campsites so it's like a box of chocolates, you don't know what you're going to get. Do try the Jadoh in the morning by the Didi who sells local food on the way to the restrooms. Water activities are reasonably priced. So is the food. Don't bother haggling cause the prices are reasonable for a location as remote as this.

A place good enough to miss your train and not regret it. Yes, we were so immersed in the beauty and adventures this place offered that we missed our train for the first time in our life. Shnongpdeng is the perfect place to experience camping, surrounded by mountains and clean river. The owner and caretaker were as good as this place. Very helpful, friendly, they felt like a part of our group. Spending one night felt too short. Would definitely go back again.

Excellent Stay
We had an incredible time at shnongpdeng riverview campsite. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the dawki river and the surrounding hills. We loved all the activities offered at the campsite. Kayaking, boating, cliff jumping - there's something for everyone. It made our stay so much more fun and adventurous. The staff at shnongpdeng riverview campsite are amazing! so friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

This campsite did have some issues like limited washrooms, limited food options. But considering the challenges mountains hold, i am giving 5 rating because i had a smooth stay and caretaker tried to manage our needs with whatever limited resources this place has to offer. Sundays remain closed. So on weekdays, one can get more food options. And yes, do try local food here. It's decent

Terrible Stay
No light was provided and no caretaker was there at the night to help us. Bathroom was not clean.

We are deeply sorry with the situation that you encountered with that the current was cutting off the whole area so we cannot do much instead we did provide you with emergency lights inside the tent .
