My family and I were looking for a pet-friendly getaway and decided to take a break from the Tree of Life resorts by staying at Saraca. The drive was smooth, with only a brief hilly stretch, and the last 800 meters to the resort in their jeep was a fun, rocky adventure. It might be tough for larger dogs or the elderly, but we found it exciting.
We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my parents' anniversary, and the service and food were excellent. The resort even arranged a lovely cake for us. We enjoyed the Kumaoni Thali over the Jungli Thali, and while the breakfast spread was simple, the service more than made up for it.
The spa had only female masseuses, so my dad and brother had to cancel their bookings, but my mom enjoyed her massage. The rooms were spacious, and the staff, especially Mansi, Chitra, Deepak, and Kaushal, were friendly and attentive.
Though the heat kept us from doing the Corbett Safari, we loved the excursion to Bhuankhal for a stunning sunset. The property was green, peaceful, and not too crowded, though it was quite hot, making it better suited for those who enjoy indoor relaxation.
I was worried about my dog being surrounded by other dogs, but we met only one, a friendly dog named Salt, and my dog had a great time!
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Saraca for anyone seeking a relaxing, pet-friendly retreat.
