Poor Stay
Extremely Disappointed with Our Stay at Casablanca by SaffronStays We had high expectations from SaffronStays’ Casablanca bungalow in Lonavala, given the brand’s reputation. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The biggest letdown was that the air conditioners in the rooms were not working. To make matters worse, one of the large rooms didn’t even have an AC installed. Traveling with very young children in this scorching Lonavala heat was already a challenge—but having to go through an entire night without working ACs was unbearable. The heat was relentless, and the children were extremely uncomfortable and distressed throughout the night. This is not the experience we signed up for. When booking with a trusted name like SaffronStays, basic amenities like proper air conditioning should be a given—especially in a premium property like Casablanca. It’s deeply disappointing that such an oversight was not addressed in time, and there was no real resolution offered during our stay. We truly believe some form of compensation is in order, considering the discomfort and distress we went through. We hope SaffronStays takes this feedback seriously and ensures no other family has to go through a similar ordeal.
