Review Of River Orchid Resort

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this resort. Despite its large premises and potential, the property was poorly maintained and unhygienic throughout. Cleanliness was completely lacking — the bedsheets and pillows appeared unwashed, the rooms and bathrooms were infested with insects, and shockingly, I even found snails inside the washroom. Basic amenities mentioned in the property’s description were not provided. When we requested the use of air conditioning, we were told it would cost extra — a detail that was never communicated beforehand. Furthermore, the furniture, including tables and chairs, was covered in dust, and no cleaning or room service was offered during our stay. What made matters worse was the behavior of the owner, which I found to be dismissive and rude. Rather than assisting or addressing our concerns, we were met with unprofessionalism and indifference. This property could be a good retreat if it were properly cared for. However, in its current state, I cannot recommend it. I sincerely hope the management takes feedback seriously and invests in proper upkeep and hospitality training.

Shabby Rooms,dirty linen, no hot water, dirty rooms. Staff is polite. Food was above average. Room rate was unreasonably high.

Shadiest creepiest place ever! we dint stay there. We had to book another place last minute at 2am!

I had been eagerly anticipating a relaxing weekend getaway at [resort name, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, i was dismayed to discover that the owner had disabled all bookings due to nearby tourist spots being closed. Despite this, somehow was able to secure us a reservation. With all nearby attractions shuttered, our plans for exploration were dashed, leaving us with little to do at the resort. Disheartened, we decided to cut our trip short. Overall, my experience at [resort name] was deeply disappointing. Not only were we unable to enjoy the intended activities due to circumstances beyond our control, but the lack of flexibility and understanding from the owner only added to the frustration. I would caution future travelers to thoroughly research and confirm the availability of nearby attractions before booking this resort.

Worst experience ever

Bedsheets in d room were stinking, plus room had moisturein it. Bathroom has leakage problem. Not happy with the room. But staff were good
