I checked in on 22/09/2025 around 11:45 AM after a 15-hour flight from South Africa with my wife and 4 large suitcases, expecting a simple, comfortable stay. Instead, this turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
Unprofessional Reception Service
Despite having a booking for 2 days and repeatedly telling the receptionist that we were exhausted, he made us wait 30 minutes outside in dust and construction debris while he cleaned his reception desk. He could have easily taken our IDs and completed the process in 10 minutes, but he chose to ignore our situation completely.
Given an Occupied Room
When we finally got the key to Room 312 on the 3rd floor, we opened the door to find dirty bedsheets, a suitcase, slippers, and clear signs that someone was already using the room. Completely unacceptable and unsafe.
Dirty, Unsafe Second Room
The receptionist then gave us another room on the 2nd floor. This one was filthy, with footprints smeared up the walls. The balcony lock was broken, and since balconies are connected across rooms, safety was a major concern. Even worse, residents in other rooms kept opening their doors whenever we passed by, making us feel extremely unsafe.
Hallways Full of Dust
The hallways were full of dust from the ongoing construction next door and metro works. For someone like me who has dust allergies, the environment was not only uncomfortable but also unsuitable and hazardous to my health.
Zero Sense of Safety & Cleanliness
At this point, we just wanted to use the washroom, but the entire place felt insecure and unhygienic. There was no peace of mind, no professionalism, and absolutely no standard of hospitality.
By 4 PM the same day, I had no choice but to move all my luggage and shift to another cleaner, safer hotel. When I informed the receptionist and returned the keys, he casually offered yet another room. After the horrible experience, there was no way I would risk staying even one more night.
