Hi - I am from Singapore, & was traveling to Varanasi for the first time. I used MMT to search for a suitable hotel closer to the Kashi Temple. On MMT, this hotel’s review is 4+ and over 1500 reviews. Wonder why?! Does MMT review or filter such horrible hotels who are duping people. Here are a few details that people from Singapore and other places should know : Location - The location of the hotel was really bad. None of the cars could go to hotel as there is a construction work going on on that road. Once it rained and there was a sewage water flowing with rain water and the whole hotel was sticking. There was no way to enter the hotel without putting foot in the water. And there was absolutely no remorse among the staff...they think it’s nature and they are helpless. But really this hotel is in a really bad location. Rooms - I have travelled around the world and had never seen such a tiny room and they charged a bomb for this room. Looking at the room I felt really upset and annoyed...with the price we paid, hotel room was really small... 3. Facilities- I had never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t offer internet service. The bathroom was stinking. Unless you switch on the noisy exhaust fan, you can get relief from that bad smell. Cleanliness is a big issue. What is clean to the staff vs the standard of cleaning in other places, there is a huge difference...Front office staff some of them were extremely rude..later I went and checked hotel reviews and I noticed that people have complained about their staff attitude...but then for every bad review there are two fake reviews claiming how good the experience was...For bad and pathetic experience, hotel is responsible but MMT is equally responsible....pls REMOVE this hotel from listing asap. They have put up fraud pictures, and duping people....and how come MMT allows such pathetic hotel...
