Review Of Onehouse Resort, Lansdowne

Stay was good , staff was very friendly,, view was also amazing from room. Food was also very delicious, they also helped with the baby food every time. But i have a few suggestions for the property as they have very less options for breakfast specifically for vegetarian.

Stayed from 2nd to 4th Nov 2024. Room 202. The property is situated in the heart of Gumkhal with walking distance to the main market. The last approach is slightly steep but not a problem for any intermediate driver. The property has a beautiful view of the valley and sunsets can be witnessed from the comfort of your room itself. What makes the property even more appealing is the hospitality and the service. Staff was very courteous and met our every need during the stay. The food was delicious. Ask staff directions to walk up the hill on a trail which starts from the terrace of the property itself to find even better views of the valley. The room needs a little renovation and the placement of the bed was not the best. Apart from that our stay was absolutely pleasant. Drive to main lansedowne is beautiful and the roads are very well. The property is perfect for a long weekend trip to escape the hustle of the cities. Totally recommended.

Our stay in one house resort was absolutely amazing. Had a great night spent with family enjoying great views and superb hospitality. Rooms were pretty clean.

It was a wonderful stay, staff were very warm. Food was freshly prepared and every bite was delicious. We loved every day of our stay.

Its a neat and clean property. The location of the resort is nice, the road uphill is a little less maintained, need a good suv or good driver to reach up. Rooms are nice and clean. In our room the drain wasn’t working properly which we could only discover when took a bath the next day and water wasnt draining. Wifi really needs to be better, esp since network coverage is quite spotty esp inside the rooms. Food was pretty decent, we really enjoyed aloo jakhiya and the pahadi murg was delish. Overall a decent stay.

Nice property with good ambience and clean rooms. Service was also good and food was also great. A small trek in the back of the hotel to have a look at sunrise and sunset adds to the overall experience.

I booked onehouse based on photos of the property. It is brand new property and the owner/manager, manish is putting real hard work to make it outstanding. I stayed for 3 nights in family suite and the experience was incredible. Rooms are spacious, clean, and boast of all modern amenities. Room service is responsive and food is good with affordable prices and generous quantities. Most amazing is the location of the property on hilltop and the views it affords. Very quiet place away from the bustle. Manish provided recommendations for sightseeing and arranged for reliable drivers. Only weather played spoilsport on couple of occasions. Overall heartily recommended.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway, the view is fantastic, the property is also located at a very breath taking location. Mr. Manish, the owner of the hotel, is a great host & an understanding person. The view from the property is mesmerizing, the food is good. It is a great place to stay, everyone should visit!

I stayed at the one-house resort (group of 4) during 24-27th june. I was looking for hotels but most of them were sold out as i was looking last minute lol. After a long search i came across this property on mm t and booked it. The views from this property are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are clean, they have great service, the rooms have big windows through which you can enjoy the mountain views right from the comfort of your own bed. They also have food, although this is an area which could be improved. I felt the breakfast options were limited. It's a new property, so i'm sure with feedback it will only get better. We were initially only going to stay 2 nights but decided to extend our stay by one more day, just because we loved the property. The owner of the property, manish, is a very courteous host. I told him that i wanted a thinner pillow, and he had it arranged very quickly. He was also arranging a night safari in the nearby mountains, although we weren't able to due to weather. There is also a small path above the hotel that goes a little higher and you can get a 360 view of all the mountains around. The path up to reach the hotel is a little steep, so it is advice d you call up manish and have him take you up there if you aren't used to driving on steep hills. All in all, it's a great property with views you can't beat.

This property is situated at top of the hill, so view from here is mind blowing. Staff is very friendly. You feel like home. Quality of food is also very good. Rooms and washrooms were very clean and spacious.
