Review for Sterling Lansdowne I would give the lowest rating to this property for the price I paid, as the overall experience was quite disappointing. The location is undoubtedly excellent — peaceful, scenic, and spacious enough for guests to take a stroll and enjoy nature. However, that’s the only highlight, Coming to the rooms, they give the feeling of entering an old guest house. The only thing of decent quality is the mattress. The furniture is outdated and poorly maintained, with chipped wood that hasn’t been polished for ages. Curtains don’t operate properly, and even the toilet seats are loose — clearly showing lack of maintenance and attention to detail. The food is another big letdown. It’s no better than an average local hotel, with limited variety and average taste. Despite being marketed as star property, they charge even for so-called complimentary meals. The buffet is minimal — no soups, no snacks, and no desserts other than one or two ice cream options. The chef team doesn’t seem trained or creative, which makes the overall dining experience very ordinary. In summary, if you’re looking for a basic stay at a beautiful location, there are many standalone hotels, boutique resorts, This property simply does not justify its premium pricing or the Sterling brand name.

The buffet meals including breakfasy were strictly average while Ala carte is good. Limited menu and options. The rooms need some uplift as they are very basic.

Location - great, at the hilltop. Food - good, can improve on taste Rooms - overall good but need some upgrade. Furniture needs an overhaul, toiletries should be upgraded, rooms need to be cleaner. Staff - Great hospitality. Ravi was very helpful with the dinner and breakfast buffets.

Had an incredible experience! The property is vast with breathtaking views. I originally booked for just one night, but after spending a day here, I couldn’t resist extending my stay. It’s a serene, quiet, and peaceful place—truly a hidden gem. Only visit if you’re looking to disconnect and unwind—this is not Delhi.

Beautiful property with stunning surroundings. The staff were very nice, and the services were excellent. We were so amazed with the view that we extended our stay there.

In last one decade of my travel towards mountain and beaches, hardly i come across properties which gives experience of pure wilderness and serenity. A heaven on mountain top. Pictures clicked do not do the justice. Top notch comfort for my kids. I will never forget the trek we took to the local waterfall, river and a ride back in open jeep through jungles. Thanks for giving such a memorable time to my family. Late night bonfire and garhwal delicacies on demand were heart warming

Property location is very good, rooms are good, food was tasty and i am sure cook belong to north. Just property owner need to think more about the maintenance may b i visited in off season thats y swimming pool was not working frog was doing swiming. Rooms also need to be clean more specially spider webs in corner.

Resorts is good but way of resorts very bad. And resorts pool is average not so good. Vanvasa staff is so good and polite, especially mr. Nautiyal g very helpful nature and arrange and guide for all activities.

Very secluded and remote resort, the way to resort was a safari itself, saw many wild animals on the way, on reaching the resort we were greeted with warm hospitality, mr rawat was very warm and kind, made us very comfortable during stay. Pool and rope activities were big plus. No tv in rooms keeping spirit of vanvas literally. Would recommend to all looking to escape the metro stress

Vanvasa is located 3 hours away from lansdowne and the entire 3 hours of road is in middle of jungle. Your car should be in excellent condition or else you will be stranded for hours or days maybe as there is no network and negligible traffic. It will be hard to find any help on the road. Make sure to carry puncture kit and air compressor. There is no mobile network in resort or nearby. Property is decent and all the staff is local and they are polite and accommodating. Food is decent with very limited options. You will get good options if there are many guests but if there are 2 or 3 families staying, then you will not be provided many options. Over all, it is worth visiting one time and it is 3. 5/5.

There are less options in breakfast. U wouldn't like breakfast.

If you are looking for a quite and serene place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city, this is the place for you. Beautiful location and equally beautiful property gives you an amazing experience to cherish. The resort is spread over a large area, with good accomodation and other recreational facilities. The live music by mr rajesh frank in the evening is enthralling and the magic show by mr rajendra is what the children can look forward to and enjoy. We enjoyed our stay at the resort and look forward to another visit very soon.

Poor location. It is far away, inacccessible. Roads are in very bad condition. It is very scary to go their with family. Its not worth the price we paid. Many other good options are there at a good height comparitively.

A true resort. Ultimate ambience. Wide space in room and balcony. Lush green horticulture. Biggest swimming pool. Food was delicious. Staff is too much cooperative and friendly

Location and view is awesome. Very beautiful waterfall near to the property is raw nature.
