good place to stay. with trees and clean ambience

Found this property in MMT for a family temple visit.Had a good stay and it is comfortable to have a visit to all surrounding places.

I always prefer this place whenever I come to Kumbakonam for Temple visits. it's closer to the highway and it's easy to move around. plenty of parking space and I always feel safe because of the helpful staff

Though Hotel management had some challenges in accommodating me they were able to clear the problem and helped me with my stay. I am not sure whether the issue was with makemytrip or hotel, EOD I had confirmed reservation with paid status but unfortunately unforeseen situation raise but hotel management solved it, thanks to them. Finally I had good stay.

The trip was for pilgrimage. The hotel accommodated for early check in. The property needs to be maintained with a higher level of hygiene.

We made our reservation through Make My Trip for a check-in on 20.05.2025 at 1:00 PM with my family (my wife and two kids). The next day, on 2.05.2025, we finished all our temple visits in Kumbakonam and got back to our room by 12:50 PM. The person there, who claimed to be the owner, told us that our check-out time was up and we needed to leave the room in 10 minutes (Note: there were no guests waiting to check in). We asked him if we could extend our stay by 3 more hours, but he just said we would have to pay for half a day's charge to do that. We agreed, and when we checked out at 3:30 PM, another person informed us that we had to pay 1350 plus tax for half a day. I questioned this because we had paid through Make My Trip, and half a day's charge should be Rs.1050. We were willing to pay that based on our conversation with the owner, but he refused, saying that was not their rate. He insisted that the room rent with tax per day. Eventually, we agreed to pay Rs.1176.00, but he continued to argue that the single room charge and we had to pay that. We requested him to call the owner so we could discuss it, but he rudely replied that the owner wouldn’t take the call and that he was the manager, so we had to pay whatever he said. I raised my voice, stating I would only pay Rs.1176.00, and if there was an issue, the owner could talk to me directly. This room felt more like a Kalyana mandapam stay. We booked after checking the reviews. 1)The Bathroom we found insects(tapeworm) 2)The COT and BED Really Horrible. 4)Taps and Showers Leaking at all the night... 3)Only the room size is big... 4)AC is working well... 5)Car Parking available.

Property located nearby highway easily accessible.ambience is very good and caretaker very helpful. Nice stay...

Rooms are good and clean . Air conditioning and parking facilities are good. The manager is good supporting. I recommend this place .

The property is next to the Bypass and hence very easy to move around. Ample parking space and safe location.

Neat and clean home stay with friendly staff.

Old Building without any renovation, they have made it as a guest house. Even that can be adjusted, but there are too many lizards in the room. I will not recommend this 😞😞 The staffs here are good and friendly, for that I have given 2 stars

The homestay was located in the highway and had easy access to the city and several temples. The rooms were clean and comfortable to stay with family

Property is located in little outside of main city, food is not available, ok type. If you have no other option and have own car, you can stay otherwise i won't recommend

Accommodation good, room cleannesses still improved. Tv not working, toilet still cleanliness need, good restaurant not available near by hotel.

1) though rooms and beds are comfortable, cleanliness is not upto mark. Toilets are not very clean and water was smelt like a old iron rust and also colour of the water is near to black. Looks like they need to clean or replace their old taps and pipe lines as those got rusted causing smell in water. 2) in the 4bedroom apartment, in which we had 2 rooms, they had only one ac remote for both the rooms. When asked for separate remote for another room, we got reasons like only one can be provided, no battery like that. It is inconvenient to control both the rooms ac with one remote during our sleep. 3) however, caretaker were calm and responsive. They were supportive as well during the course of check-in. 4) property is in good and calm place with good amount of parking. It would be a great stay if our above mentioned issues were not there.

Good atmosphere, safe lodging, and satisfactory service. Highly recommended.
