We recently stayed at AVS Imperiaa in Karaikal, about an hour’s drive from Velankanni Church, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and definitely lives up to its 4-star rating. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect. The breakfast buffet was very good with a nice variety of options. They also have a rooftop pool which is well-kept and a great spot to relax. There’s a spa on-site, valet parking, and even a small bar that’s quite cozy. The restaurant food deserves a special mention — it’s delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are courteous and helpful, making the stay all the more pleasant. Overall, AVS Imperiaa is an excellent choice for families, pilgrims visiting Velankanni, and business travelers alike. Highly recommended!

We had a bad experience in staying at AVS Imperiaa. First, during check-in they demamded extra person charges though the room is meant for 2 people. Second, there is leakage in the bathroom and the later water is not coming. It is not expected that after paying close to 3.5k per day, we receice this experience.

Not as described in pictures. Property is aged/old now. Furnitures and fixtures, sofa and matresses in room are very old. Toilet not maintained neatly. Morning breakfast not worth the price that is paid. Overall not worth the price. Room quality now is not even equal to a 3star hotel.
