Except for the check in, everything else was standard, routine. No complaint about the overall quality of room, cleanliness etc. But the fellow at check-in counter had difficulty in communicating, he could speak only Malyalam. Maybe they could assign a bilingual person, it'll be very helpful for tourists like us. He also demanded extra money to put up a third person in the same room, even though we had booked and paid for three people already. Eventually, we didn't pay anything extra, but the language barrier created some hurdles which could have been easily avoided.
Only other point to note is, this property is little away from the Padmanabh temple, and since we were up only for the darshan, we could have booked a similar property closer to the temple. It's not really a deal breaker, but just to forewarn tourists about the location.
