It was a good stay but the location is little interior from sakaleshpura town. It's around 28 kms. It was raining continuously hence we could not see nearby places . Some places are far from this resort. It's very expensive as we paid around 35 k for resort and only breakfast is complimentary. Food is costly for 2 night stay we got additional bill of 6500

Limited mobile network in some areas 2. Activities are minimal— specially whatever was memtioned in the description - walk in the coffee estate etc. 3. Also, due to the dampness, moulds had developed on the walls, which was making the room smelly and kind of suffocating. We had to request to change our room, which was complied with.

It was quite a memorable experience being at Machaan Resort. Scenic beaty of the property makes a big difference. It was worth the drive all the way from Bangalore. Right place for people who want peace of mind, that too in the middle of nature. No cellular access makes it more ideal for people like me, who are used to a hectic day to day corporate life. Off course wifi is there and in some select places phone is accessible.. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thanks to the helpful staff also. We strongly recommend this property to all families. This is one of the properties we want to come back in the coming years..

Amazing experience for couples as it is quite secluded with well maintained greenery all around even during peak monsoon,Staffs are very polite and responsive.Food and the view of western ghats are like cherries on the cake.Roads to the resort are straight forward and you will have no issues locating it.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at machan plantation resort in sakleshpur and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully designed property and gracious staff. *accommodation: our deluxe room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchenette, a outside seating area with stunning views *amenities: the resort offered a fantastic range of amenities for all ages. There is a very well maintained game room with carrom, table tennis and other indoor games. The fish feeding activity in the resort ponds is an absolute delight for children. The coffee plantation walk conducted by nobi was extremely well done and was very informative. The evening bonfire and the documentary shows were particularly enjoyable in the chilly winter evenings. *food: the food definitely deserves special mention. Almost everything that we tasted here were nothing short of marvellous. The breakfast spread was vast and catered to every taste. Hats off to the chef! *service: the entire staff right from the restaurant to the front office were incredibly friendly, attentive, prompt and always went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In essence, loved the overall experience at machan plantation resort. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway.
