Review Of DWARASAMUDRA RESORTS

Beautiful location amidst greenary and coffee plantation, authentic and tasty home cooked food and cordial and helpful staff are positives. But it's no value for money. It's not the place for those looking out for comfort. No AC, not even ceiling fan. Quite uncomfortable to rest in the afternoons and at night mosquitoes will ensure you have a restless night, no kettle to heat water, unclean washrooms with rickety doors and taps. This place is terribly overrated and over-priced. It's totally neglected. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Very nice place, serene, surrounded with natures beauty, melodious peackock voice always, nice place to relaxand do get together, cost can be considered as it's little bit on higher side

We checked in at 2 and wanted to have lunch. The dining area is one of worst that I have seen. It was like a run down canteen. The food was average and the hygiene suspect. The room was ok. The place was way too expensive . We immediately checked out ans moved to another place.

Good resort in mid of forest, but need better maintenance of the infra. Food is fresh and good. Staff is polite. This resort has some Astronomy related activities as it’s located in Bortle 2 dark sky, during clear nights the view of night sky is stunning.

The property is spacious within a good coffee estate. Food is also good. Problem was they haven't maintained it very well. Bathroom door was broken and cannot even close the door. Bucket was not clean and taps were not working. Beer bottles were kept outside our room. They should clean and mop the rooms thoroughly before giving it to guest. They should keep the dental kit for the price they are charging. Overall it's a decent one but they need to give a lot more value for the money they are charging.

The resort is yet to complete and existing villas which are operating are good, staffs are good. I reduced a star due to the way to resort from main road. The connecting road from the main road to the resort is not good. If you have vehicle with low ground clearance then it is tough to reach the resort

Stay was quite good. Lot of renovation is going on in the resort. No proper roads or sign boards to the location. Maintenance is not good. Staff are friendly and polite. Food was average. Multiple food options not available. No room service.

Far below expectations. Did not get heritage rooms that i had booked. At least those were inside a heritage building. The heritage cottages we were given were not heritage at all. All new construction with plastic flooring. Swimming pool better left unsaid but what was gross was wet clothes including undergarments drying just around the reception dining hall area. Just crass. Absolutely repulsive. Would not recommend. Assumed will be a decent place for the price i paid. Disappointed.

Our stay at dwarasamudra was absolutely delightful. The person in charge, mr. Anil, made sure that we had whatever we asked for and needed for our stay to be absolutely comfortable. The in-house cook was very good and we had different dishes for every meal in the dining hall. They are in the process of expanding and upgrading and therefore, their facilities are quite basic right now. They even have an in-house masseuse who is very well trained and gives head, neck, shoulder and leg massages for women and full body massages for men. I definitely recommend getting one!

It was worth for the money spend. Good food and location. Good services and but amenties and room was not great but worth for the money spend.

Property is good. Options in dinner is very minimal and taste is ok. Suprised to know that break fast is prepared based on guests options with minimal options. (3 varties. Though rooms looks like old heritage style, it's too dirty, bedsheets smell very bad. Hot water stopped after 30 min. No major outdoor games. Overall it's not worth of money.

It was an amazing blend of location, ambience, heritage build, people, food, pets- all taking you back to the loving and ever welcoming abode of grandparents

Food is really really great. Rooms are clean but can maintain the property more neatly as the bedsheets, pillows are not good.

Dwarasamudra resort is well located in a coffee estate which also has several other trees such as mango, pomelo, pepper plants etc. The main building and reception is within a heritage building with old artefacts, paintings and photos. There are a number of outdoor activities like zipline, sky-cycling, etc. There are newly built villas and heritage rooms also with high ceilings provided only with fans. On the whole a very attractive property but there are several areas requiring proper attention and maintenance. The food is simple but quite tasty cooked in a local style. All meals with morning tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch, evening tea/coffee and snacks as well as a dinner are included in the tariff. There are no other restaurants in the vicinity since the location is secluded. The staff is friendly but service is slow and the service staff disorganised. Apart from these glitches we had a comfortable stay. Belur temple, halebidu archaeological sites as well as sakleshpur town are quite close-by and can be visited by car. Belur and halebidu are must see destinations and if possible shravanabelagola should also be visited.

Overall a good experience, hospitality is really nice, if u want to relax n expend good weekend with friends n family then must visit. Only challenge is serving food is very delay, but food was good

Decent property. Good food and excellent service. Only con was mosquito in our room. Everything else was good and had good time there.

It's a beautiful place. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The food is also good. However we did face a few issues with the amenities provided. We had booked a heritage villa for a day. Now, when you pay for a day, you definitely expect things to work fine. The tv wasn't working, when we informed the staff they said they are aware of it and it can't be repaired any time soon. The washroom door couldn't be shut properly. There was a fan only in the bedroom and there was none in the living area of the villa. It looks like the villa that was allocated to us was not completely ready to be occupied. It would be a great place if they fix all these issues.
