Anniversary by the Sea My partner and I marked our anniversary at La Marina, Puri — it was perfect. The staff surprised us with flowers, soft lighting, and a personalized dinner by the terrace overlooking the sea. The room was elegant, the ambiance romantic, and service impeccable. Every detail felt thoughtfully arranged. The ocean’s melody through the night made it unforgettable. La Marina turned our special day into something truly magical.

In homestay , they have not given cooking facility. Daily cleaning of room was not done.

Good ambience, great environment....nicely maintained room... Great service and experience. Location is approximate 700 m from sea beach... Better to rent a bike or scooty for travelling as location is far off from swargadwar. good restuarents available inside premises..food is little costly... Well secured with option for kitchen available..

wife and I spent 1 wonderful days here and both agree we could have and should have stayed longer. There is plenty of room and diversity of rooms to easily accommodate guests with or without children in seperate areas. The grounds are wonderful just to walk through. The gym , , the pool / spa area with steam and dry sauna all were well done.

Room was good but they didn't clean the room and bathroom before i have arrived.everywhere the hairs was there and kitchen sink was also not working. but it happens some thime.overall i can say ita good in the price

I was nervous abt staying in a new place, but La Marina, Puri made me feel immediately at ease. All staffs helped me with local culture, travel, and food choices. My sea-view room was elegant, comfortable, and spotless. The blend of traditional Indian décor and modern amenities impressed me. The food was a delightful mix of local and mix cuisine. The staff arranged transport to the temple and local spots. I returned home uplifted and full of joy.

The staff are impeccably trained, polite, and discreet. My suite had thoughtful amenities and a breathtaking sea view. Dining here felt like a fine-dining experience, even in local setting. Sunsets from the rooftop were magical. If you appreciate luxury in a serene locale, this place checks all boxes.

Visiting the Jagannath Temple was my purpose, and staying at La Marina, Puri made it even more meaningful. The hotel is close to the temple yet tucked in a calm corner by the sea. I could hear temple bells and waves in the mornings — a heavenly combination. The staff respected my spiritual routine, arranged early breakfast, and offered quiet walk routes. After darshan, returning to a clean room and warm meal was a blessing. My spiritual journey felt complete at La Marina.

I had a very bad experience staying at La Marina Homestay last Wednesday, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The hotel is in a terrible condition — definitely not as described or shown in the photos on their website. The pictures are clearly outdated and do not reflect the current state of the property. Cleanliness: The room was extremely dirty when I checked in. The walls had damp patches and water leakage marks, and there was a strong musty smell throughout. The sink was rusted, and the bathroom was unhygienic. Facilities: Basic toiletries were not provided, and I received a towel only after requesting it multiple times. Building Condition: The building looks very old and poorly maintained, with black fungus-like patches visible on the exterior walls. The lift looked like it was from the 1980s and was in a filthy condition — there were even spit stains inside, Reception & Access: The reception is oddly located on the 7th floor, while my room was on the 3rd floor — a very confusing setup. On top of that, when I arrived, the security or hotel staff did not guide me properly. I was not allowed to take my bike near the hotel and was asked to park it near the main gate, after which I had to walk nearly 300 meters carrying my luggage and find the hotel on my own. None of the staff came to assist or even show me the correct building. Staff & Service: The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. They didn’t care to make the guest comfortable or even maintain basic hygiene standards. Overall, the property is nowhere close to what’s shown online. It’s in very poor condition, badly maintained, and offers no value for money. I strongly suggest avoiding this place until the management takes serious steps to renovate and maintain it properly.

Covered campus society owner is good

Rooms were not clean, it was not maintained as per the price have paid.. uncomfortable stay as I have booked for 2 nights but I left the room in 1 night.. it was pathetic stay

Bed sheets were not clean washroom was not clean and even service was extremely poor along side no amenities provided like basics towels or soap toiletries etc

Location is okay, service vey bad. Geyser not working, electricity went off no backup service.

It was a nice experience to book a room and experience a space like a one bhk flat
