I booked Jalsa Resort and Banquet – Indore only because of the swimming pool, as our kids were really looking forward to having fun and relaxing there. To our shock and disappointment, when we reached the resort, the staff casually informed us that the swimming pool is under maintenance. What made it worse was that nobody informed us in advance, neither the resort nor MakeMyTrip, even though the swimming pool option is still being shown as available on the booking portal. This felt very misleading and completely ruined the main reason we chose this property.
The whole stay turned into a disappointment because the one facility that mattered most to us (the pool) was not available, and the lack of basic communication and assistance from both the resort and MakeMyTrip only added to the frustration.
We reached the resort around 9:30 PM. Yes, it was late for dinner, but still, we expected at least some cooperation or guidance from the staff. Unfortunately, neither the resort team nor MakeMyTrip made any effort to help us with our booking or offer any kind of support. Instead of hospitality, all we experienced was indifference.
👉 Overall, the experience was a big letdown – zero transparency, zero customer care, and absolutely no value for the expectations we had.
