I had booked a room at Indra Loka Comforts, Mysore through MakeMyTrip for the dates 15th to 17th April. The booking was made on 8th April. However, just two days later, I received a message from the hotel stating that all bookings from 13th to 19th April had been cancelled which included mine as well.
Due to this sudden cancellation, I had to urgently find and book another hotel nearby, which was an inconvenience. The bigger issue is that the hotel still hasn’t refunded the amount of ₹2349 for the cancelled booking.
I contacted the hotel directly, and they told me that MakeMyTrip would process the refund. I then reached out to MakeMyTrip, and they said they would get in touch with the hotel. But after that, no proper solution or update was provided, and my refund is still pending.
Very poor coordination between the hotel and MakeMyTrip. This has been a frustrating experience, and I hope others don’t face the same
