Location of hotel is very good. View from room is awesome. Food is also good.

As is the case with all HPTDC properties, this one too is a well located hotel with all comfort- amenities and a wonderful staff at your service. Don't forget to admire the serene view from its rooms.

Govt property and looks like a old building. Bathrooms and linen were clean

It was a very nice trip. Snow covered area mainly near the hotel. Beautiful view from room. Good food, good service. Value for money. Thanks MMT.

A heater was provided to provide warmth that was not working properly. Allover staff was cooperating and helpful.

Room service needs to be improved

The Hotel is clean plus located at The prime location whereby you can access all The major spots in Shimla

One of The best hospitality I have ever seen

Very polite staff. Nice location. Buffet breakfast was average but menu options and food quality is good. Overall nice ambience, upkeep and maintenance is average as we normally find in Govt. Run hotels.

Good location with wonderful scenery

This is the first place where you can easily See snow bounded mountains but not located in Fagu but you can See some snow on mountains and location is extremely good.
I haven't faced any issue regarding room the TV was too small and CRT TV location is excellent.

View during snow fall is pretty. Has a big play area for kids and adults too to play snow fight or just sit and eat.
Lamps and windows were pretty to click good pictures.

The hotel is well placed as it is not far from the main road which connects Shimla and Sarahan/Narkanda. The rooms are clean and spacious. They provide heaters during the winter which is a plus as compared to some other private hotels where they charge you for the same. The food was tasty and service from the staff was really good. Overall great value for money. Would highly recommend this place.

Good place to stay with family.
Hotel should have a bar. A big lawn is available within the hotel which is underutilized and should have more chairs to sit. Overall the experience is good but it could have been better. Lastly I ordered 2 soft drinks and they gave us 300 ml glass bottles and charged money for it which is too high.

Only location is plus point, you can see breath taking views from the hotel .. Since it is a govt property, nothing is up to mark! Staff work is totally casual as their job are totally secured. Hotel infra & location is very nice, but not maintaining at all.

Rooms were spacious. Location of the hotel is very nice. But only thing is that if you are in search of peace then only you go there. There is nothing to do only you can relax only. There is no market to roam around.

Located bang on Fagu highway. Shimla to Fagu and beyond is excellent road. From the hotel you have a 360 degree view of the valley and far-off range. In winter the range supposed to be snow laden. Better to stay here than in Shimla & visit nereby places like Hatu, Naldhera, Mashobra & Shimla

Our purpose was to v visit places near Shimla. Hotel scores only on one count, I. E. Its location. Serving staff was courteous. General cleanliness was missing in the room. There were no towels in bathroom. Intercom / t. V. Were not working. Items mentioned in the MENU card were not available ( against an order of two plate curd only one was served, Gulab jamun were not available).

Experience was OK. There was a marriage there this time so couldn’t get the serenity and calmness we were looking for. Weather was quite cool. The hotel staff could do whatever they could with their limited resources.
